"Our kids love hibachi and were really wanting to go to a knife flipping place last Saturday. It was short notice and all of our favorite hibachi restaurants had long waits. Samurai could get us right in so we thought we 'd give it a try. The first thing we noticed waking in was a very strong smell of sulfur and rotten cooking oil. The environment was dirty and poorly maintained. Once seated in the mostly empty hibachi room a super creepy server greeted us. He gave us a really scary and uncomfortable vibe. Definitely not a good dude. He took our drink order and, subsequently, our food order. We were scared to order any sushi just because of the general uncleanness of the restaurant. So we stuck with the cooked hibachi The hibachi chef then arrived and proceeded to make our food. He was really nice and good and did a fine job of preparing our meal. The ingredients used were, however, not good. You could tell they used the cheapest quality meats that they could find. The vegetables were not fresh and the fried rice was very bland. After dinner, I went into the bathroom which was very dirty. The floor in there was so greasy and urine covered that I nearly slipped and fell down. I definitely do not recommend this place. Please endure the wait and a better restaurant and save yourself the poor experience."
