"The grilled scallops were absolutely fantastic! There were about nine or ten of them, and I found they didn’t even need lemon or butter, though I did use them anyway. For sides, I chose the delicious onion rings and a vinegar-based coleslaw, which complemented the meal perfectly. The hush puppies were delightful as well, and the Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cake was unexpectedly light with just the right level of sweetness. Everyone in my group was pleased with their choices too. Although we didn’t have a reservation (every time I called, the phone just kept ringing after the automated message), we ended up waiting about 45 minutes to be seated for our party of ten, arriving around 5:15. Our server was incredibly friendly and fun, and it seemed like all the staff truly enjoyed their work. I will definitely keep this restaurant on my shortlist for future trips to the area."
