"Worst gumbo I ever had!Got a 5 piece to eat there and took some frozen gumbo home to reheat later.Fish and chips are a more granular breading not the fluffy British style. Came out crispy and would rate it 7/10 fries were good. The tarter sauce has old bay in it to make it “different”Worst coke slaw I ever had. It was dry and flavorless.I was the most disappointed with the gumbo. I ordered a large but he heard me wrong and accused me of saying it was a small. No big deal “sorry I must have said it wrong”. Seemed like he was upset about that. I saw him pour the small into the large and they were pretty similar so and 8oz vs 12 is $4 difference. no prob that’s what I wanted. It was not a night they served gumbo so it was semi frozen for the next day. No worries I plan on eating it later. When I heat it up the next day there’s no meat or anything in there just 3 cubes of sausage and the taste was very bland and you only taste tomato. So when the gumbo at $12-13 cost just as much as an entree but doesn’t eat like one it’s very disappointing. You’re better off buying a premade gumbo mix and adding ingredients. It tasted about the same.It was empty in there with one guy working and said he only takes cash for tips and he doesn’t get any credit card tip which was weird to me. He was super respectful but gave me off vibes. Didn’t remember things I told him or said I said X when I said Z so I was not trying to be confrontational. He seemed like he could only remember one thing at a time so you would have to break what you had to say down so he could finish one task at a time. Conclusion if you want a fried fish fix at fair prices this place is serviceable. This is not the place for gumbo unless you wants red tomato soup resembling gumbo and the driest coleslaw you ever had in your life"
