"We were greeted by our server bill who seemed dismissive and disinterested from the get-go. half of the glasses on the table had water in them and the rest of us had to wait a staggering 40 minutes for us to receive a glass of water after being seated, and once we had it, there were no refills throughout our two-hour party. This lack of basic attention to service was frustrating and left us feeling neglected. Our server bill was rude and clearly didn’t put any effort into making our experience enjoyable. We were a larger party so gratuity was automatically granted so it seems he thought he didn 't have to work for his money. To make matters worse, when the food arrived, it was lukewarm and bland. Given the service issues, it’s no surprise that the food didn’t meet any expectations. We had hoped for a pleasant meal but instead left feeling unsatisfied and irritated. One of the plates were even sent out incomplete...not sure how no one caught this but this should no be presented as steak and eggs It was nice that Larkins was able to accommodate such a large party, but from the rude host, the careless server, and mediocre food...we will not be back."

"The Salmon Don was like butter. You’d be hard pressed to find a better cut of salmon. It’s marbled with fat and always spectacular! The soft shell crab roll was a bit too creamy. Overpowering. Simply add some fresh ginger and wasabi to elevate to acceptable. Love atmosphere and ambiance at Blu Fish! Great for date night! Looking forward to reviewing more dishes!"

"I had a fantastic experience at Luce. The atmosphere was great, the customer service was excellent, and they had a wide variety of wines and a decent selection of beer. The cocktails I tried were delicious as well. My only issue was that the prices were a bit high. For example, I ordered a halibut special with rice and vegetables for almost $40, which seemed expensive considering I could buy multiple pounds of halibut for the same price. Despite this, I would still recommend Luce to anyone and have already done so multiple times in the past week."

"Wow, Wow, Wow. For the last 3 months, I have dined here at least 7 times with family and friends all very happy and leaving with full bellies of nice quality foods. Having experienced both the lunch specials along with the rolls and even dinner entrees, you truly can’t go wrong with someplace like Blufish. The lunch special is for sure a standout served Monday Friday with items being around 20 bucks after tax. In my opinion, great deal!! Not only do you get the main, but you also get a spicy tuna roll, fried rice, sweet and sour chicken with soup or salad. Everything is pretty good on the lunch with my only critique that the entree meat is on the smaller side. It is though made up by the quantity of items served with. My only other ask is if we can get the recipe for the dressing?! From all the Japanese restaurants we have tried in the Chicagoland area, their dressing is by far a favorite of ours. We have tried a few of the rolls but they are just okay. Not one has completely stood out to us, but it is possible we just aren’t ordering good ones. Dragons were nice but the mozzarella one was a little off putting as the cheese wasn’t melted. As for the best quality item to get here is always the sashimi lunch dinner. The raw fish always tastes super fresh and for a good price you get so many pieces. I do wish sometimes I knew what I was eating : BluFish is located in strip mall with ample parking and outdoor seating. Generally, services has always been good for the served, but the bartender is a huge standout. My only negative experience would be from the host who was quite off putting on a Saturday afternoon. There are more positive ways to greet guests and she did not do that. The restaurant was also empty at that time and I don’t think having a small quiet puppy in its carrier is an issue… All in all it’s a nice place. Best of the 4 locations I believe that they have. "Beautiful place with great service and artistically crafted meals. Definitely glad I stopped here with my parents on the way back from the Volo Museum. Our server Bryan was knowledgeable of all their meals and patient with the extraneous amount of questions to decide which meal to choose. Their French Onion Soup is really good and all their meals came out to perfection. My dad got a burger, while my mother and I ordered steaks that were made with precision and care. Highly recommend checking it out if you’re from the area and looking for something special or just visiting the surrounding neighborhood and wanna grab a bite to eat or place to lounge. They also have a cigar lounge with a fireplace and skylights that I wanna come back to see and experience."

"Absolute wow! We weren’t sure what to expect when we arrived but the personalized service (thanks Steve) and a welcoming atmosphere for a diverse clientele set the stage for a delicious meal. I hammered a half dozen heavy extra large crabs that were perfectly seasoned. My husband, whose family are native Baltimoreans, had the best crab cakes he’s ever tasted. The lumps were huge. And my martini was huge as well. The food was so delicious that we ate at Angie’s on both evenings that we were in town. Angie’s does its part in keeping the charm in “Charm City”. We’ll most definitely be back!!!"

"I booked a table on Open Table well in advance for a special birthday. When we arrived, they did not have our reservation! I showed them the open table reservation on my phone (it even said “dining now” . The woman at the front explained they had recently changed reservation platforms and the old open table reservations did not transfer!! They were not very apologetic about it, but we did finally get a table after a 30 minute wait. After that initial glitch, it was great: the service and food were excellent! My halibut was perfectly grilled. A little loud because of high ceiling (the room is beautiful!"

"I love to got here late at night. For a meal I would not recommend. The food wasn't great and I spent $30 on a whole tomato with a little cheese, and a grilled cheese which had meat in it when I said no meat. Pretty sure they just took the meat out and brought it back out. There was very little cheese on the bread. Dessert they ran out of the gelato I wanted so they gave me another flavor and one scoop of the one I wanted.. spent $9 on one scoop of gelato and 2 scoops basically went to wasted. definitely could have had a better meal for the $60 I spent for one person."

"The waitstaff was very nice however, the food did not meet expectations. The popovers were still doughy so while the outside was brown and flakey, they as a whole were inedible. The oysters were good, but that requires no prep/cooking. Our salads were big portioned, but my husbands Cesar had yellow lettuce meaning their selection of produce to use was questionable. My filet mignon came out rare and we sent it back only to come out still rare. The manager and wait staff were nice and they took it off the bill and offered us free dessert too because of it, and when we declined dessert they comped the salads we had instead. So the appropriate actions were taken to attempt to rectify that. We did visit during a weekday, and there were only ~5 couples there the whole time we were there so wouldn’t assume they were ‘rushing’ to get it out of the kitchen that would fluff these items so much. The parm-truffle fries were the star of the dinner, but we also got the brussel sprouts which like the popovers and my steak, looked done on the outside but weren’t actually cooked through. They did get a NY strip cooked properly on the first try, but by the time we actually were able to eat it, it was cold. We did get a bottle of wine, Stag’s Leap Artemis, and it was overpriced but there weren’t many other “known” cab wines on their list I would have been comfortable ordering and/or the options were $225+."

"Unfortunately, I couldn’t return the very next day, so I came back two days later to request a refund since they had taken my money. I didn’t use DoorDash or any other delivery service; I simply searched for Krystal's online, found this location, and chose the pick-up option. There seemed to be no way to contact anyone except the restaurant itself. When I spoke with a staff member, she informed me that there was nothing they could do and couldn't provide any information about the management on duty that night, which was March 15, at 11:05 PM. I showed her my receipt, but unfortunately, I encountered rudeness from some staff members. As someone who works in the hospitality industry, I take customer service seriously, and this was an incredibly disappointing experience. It feels like theft to take money without providing any service in return. I have the online receipt as proof."

The steak was mediocre and the rice was drowning in water. I think they need to make some improvements."

"Celebrating my daughter’s 21st Bday. Made reservations got there 2 minutes before. Check in, the hostess state it will be 15-20 minutes before seating. Really wow then why made reservations. After they take our order it took 40 minutes for us to get our sushi. The server state sorry but they are behind because they are still serving the other table. Really why there is not enough workers. Our table was around dirty tables one behind me and 3 next to me… wow we couldn’t enjoy the view, all you see was dirty tables."
