"It had the potential for a nice night. Reservation for 7 PM. We arrived an hour early for drinks at the bar before sitting in the dining room. Bar service was excellent. When they sat us, they sat us at a bar booth. It seems they sold out the dining room on Friday night! So no ambiance: we went from the bar to the bar. Not the reservation I made. We should have been told. No one knew the oyster selection. We asked for a briny and received an earthy oyster. We ordered the marrow which was very good. For the main, I had the ribeye and my wife have the Himalayan salt block filet. The sat block was salty and the filet quality though meager. They brought the ribeye blue though I ordered med rare; luckily, I prefer prime beef blue. Unfortunately it was the strip end of the rib loin. It had tough tendons throughout it that could not be cut. The server was fine. We will give the restaurant one more try, but it did not meet our expectations."
