"In the area and decided to check this out. My wife and I are both fans of Mexican (me more Tex-Mex) food, we decided to check it out. A bit after lunch and not very busy. Appeared to me more evening oriented with ads for live music and specialty drinks. Our server Angela quickly brought water for my wife and iced tea for me while we glanced at the menu. My wife asked for the Queso Fundida and I had to try the Chicken Chicarrones. The Fundida was disappointing, a mishmash of ingredients that weren't that great blended. Queso Blanco, not available, would have been much better. The Chicken Chicarrones were great! Hot and crispy but very greasy. I admit I ordered mainly to take to our youngest daughter who chooses the skin on fried chicken. For entrees my wife chose the Burrito Bowl with chicken and I selected the Enchiladas Verdes. Took awhile for the entrees to come so we nibbled on the small dish of complimentary tortillas and salsa. The salsa was disappointing and when I asked for hot salsa, they had none! Instead I was directed to four bottles of hot sauce to flavor the salsa, none of which had any heat. Both of our meals were disappointing. Not Mexican, not Tex-Mex, a confusing blend of something else. The tortillas were hot, crispy, and delightful, but not enough to carry the meal and maybe a third of amount that is normal. Extra chips and salsa at extra cost. We left more than half our entrees."
