"We were invited to this restaurant for a work-related seminar and were uncertain about what to expect. After reviewing the menu, we didn't see much that aligned with our usual preferences, especially since my coworker is allergic to seafood. However, we decided to give it a try, and to our surprise, the food was delightful. The crispy asparagus spring rolls are a must-try! You really can’t go wrong with any of the drink options either. The restaurant was clean, and the staff was incredibly friendly. While the prices are a bit on the higher side, it’s definitely a place worth visiting."

"This Chinese restaurant was a terrible disappointment. While our server was efficient, the food was bland and poorly prepared. We ordered the shrimp and pineapple lettuce cups, but they lacked flavor and the pineapples were nowhere to be found. Instead, they were filled with water chestnuts. The noodles were flavorless and lacking in vegetables. I had to add my own seasonings to make them edible. The egg drop soup tasted like thickened water with egg, and the chicken with broccoli was disappointingly bland. Overall, the food was not up to par with other Chinese restaurants and the prices were unreasonably high for the quality. It felt like we were being ripped off."

"Super clean front f the house. No nonsense. Great menu, very diversified. I ordered the Spicy Miso soup, it was perfect, and the Thai Basil fried rice with chicken. The portion size was huge, enough for two people and the flavor was spot on. I have seen this restaurant for some time and never thought of going it. They do a lot of take out business during lunch which made finding a table a breeze. Don't pass Jaiyen up. You will be very happy there. The presentation of the food is also a very nice touch."

"Another great night for my wife and I at a great priced local restaurant (we frequent this gem a few times a month). The food quality for the price is awesome. We are huge Sushi/Sashimi fans, and the portions for their Tuna and Salmon Sashimi are great for the price. The quality and quantity of the food for the price and the fact that it is a BYOB puts it over the top for any other Sushi place in the area."

"My most highly ordered dish is vegan Thai curry fried rice Add fried tofu. It tastes good. But the only drawback is that I can't rely on consistency. Sometimes they add all stir fry vegetables.sometimes just peas n carrot. Sometimes rice is sticky. Other times it's really nice n fluffy. Sometimes tofu is really deep fried.Sometimes it is just sauteed. Pls maintain consistency."

"I ordered the Mongolian Beef, and it was delicious with an amazing sauce. I also tried the mango bubble tea, which was alright, but the bubbles didn’t have a mango flavor. I've had bubble teas before where the pearls were flavored. My friend ordered an iced Thai tea, but she wasn't a fan of its taste. The atmosphere of the restaurant was quiet and not crowded at all. It seems to cater more to takeout than dining in. Overall, I enjoyed the entree."

"Really good food, been going there for a while. Yesterday, ordered my beef fried rice with extra beef as most places are skimpy on it. I paid extra for that and a few other ingredients. Get home and the extra ingredients I paid for were just barely even the usual amount? I called today and got nowhere with the actual lady that took my order basically saying she supervised the cook? I asked her if she was calling me a liar? I said I want what I paid for or I'm not giving you my business anymore! She said ...that's up to you? I like to get what I paid for! Funny thing she said in her broken thick Chinese English accent, you probably eat it all? And she reffered to my girlfriend as my wife?"

"this is a small but cozy restaurant with friendly staff. we divided a (non-vegan) feed of 2 spring rollers 2 eier rollers, but without garnel. the egg roll was tasty, the early roll were usually iceberg salad (possibly because we asked them to do so without garnel) the two sauces very, very sweet. I had the tofu mongolian, the tofu, mushrooms and 4 small pieces baby bok choy swimming in too much gravy (again, too sweet). I made myself hungry for more sweet; there was simply not enough for a satisfying vegan meal!"

"2022.05.22 — Had a great lunch at Rice N Roll Bistro. It has a limited space inside. The sushi bar has stools and purse hangars which is nice. Nice modern decor inside. Our group ordered the spicy edamame, miso soup, seaweed salad, and house salad with ginger dressing. All of which were delicious. Particularly fond of the spicy edamame myself. No surprises with the starters and all tasty. We ordered a nice big plate of sushi rolls. Had a spicy tuna and rainbow roll as basic go to’s. Good fresh tasty ingredients. The real fun was the signature rolls. Ordered the Dragon, East Town Monster, Dancing on the Moon, and Lake Front signature rolls as the main treats. My personal favorite was the Dragon roll. The shrimp tempura middle gives good texture and crunch. Decided to finish with some deserts. Chocolate mousse cake and the seasonal mango sticky rice. Between the small space, courteous staff, modern decor and the great sushi it’s a great place for your favorite Asian cuisine. Give it a try. You will find a new favorite sushi place for your friends and family to enjoy."

Great and ample servings of several choices and can't beat the price.Service is always good with smiling servers and welcoming hostesses. But something seemed off this time. Oh I know absolutely no signs or sounds of upcoming Christmas. No trees or decorations and I swear there was Christmas music playing before but not today. "The food was quite good, but when our group of eight went there to celebrate a graduation, we were served on tiny plates. We requested regular-sized plates, but this seemed to be an issue for them. It seemed like they didn't want us to dirty the larger plates because the kitchen was closing and they wanted to save them for the next day. This was particularly frustrating because the larger plates were meant for a 92-year-old grandfather and two ladies in our group. Needless to say, I won’t be returning, and neither will any of my family, despite living just four blocks away."

"Nice place to go for Thai, the prices were more expensive than we expected from other Thai places but it wasn't too bad. The food was decent and the service was good too. Nothing extraordinary. The Thai chicken fried rice was the best out of everything we ordered and the Thai soup was not at great. One complaint I have is the appetizer sampler; it was definitely not worth it for 15 dollars, not that the food was bad, but the quantity of food you get was really low. If you're debaiting between going here and sagar, choose sagar. However if you want something new, go to this place. They also had a clean bathroom."

"All of the business owners with me were shocked by her behavior, as it is rare to encounter such rudeness towards potential customers. She seemed irritated that we had mentioned we were there for a business lunch and that we wouldn't be making reservations despite the lack of any other diners. We will definitely not be returning. In my 30 years of dining with small business groups at various restaurants, we have always been treated warmly and have frequently returned to our favorite spots. This was our first visit to this location, and it will unfortunately be our last. It was a disappointing experience, and I can't recommend this place."

"Good neighborhood spot. Has been open for awhile which is a good sign. Clean, well mannered staff. The food is good. The place itself is small but comfortable. Great place for a quick bite alone either at lunchtime or after work. The prices are reasonable and the wait is not long. They do have a selection of beers and daily special's. Reservations are not required. This place is handicapped accessible with seating. There is street parking available. This is a great spot for a relaxing meal. Check this place out."
