"I requested that my entire order be vegan and gluten-free, specifying this in the notes section for each item I ordered. When the food arrived, both the Pad Thai and fried rice contained egg, despite my request. Instead of remaking the dishes, it seemed like someone attempted to pick out the egg but didn't get it all. Additionally, the coconut soup was overly sweet to the point where I had to throw it out. I called the restaurant and received a refund for the two dishes with egg, although I had to call twice for this to happen. It seemed like the person who answered the phone was already aware of the situation and although she apologized, there was a lack of surprise in her response. While the refund helped financially, my kids were disappointed that their dinner was not as expected. The other dishes we ordered were average in quality. With Rice By Mama and Rice Thai Cuisine on Main Street as alternatives, I would recommend trying those restaurants instead. The customer service at Rice Thai Cuisine, in particular, stood out as they reached out to confirm my order would be vegan and gluten-free, demonstrating excellent customer care."
