"I don’t normally do reviews but had to share my experience. Obviously reviews are subjective so I must say, I almost skipped out on this restaurant because of the reviews. I am really happy I didn’t because me and my husband had the most enjoyable experience on Valentine’s Day. The food drinks were delicious! We had the blue martini, beet salad with salmon, pan fried haddock and shrimp linguine. So 2 cocktails, a pricey appetizer and 2 main courses and the check came up to $100.00 for 2 persons, which is affordable compared to other restaurants. The service was great, server was very friendly and attentive and the atmosphere was comfortable. I mean it wasn’t the best decorated restaurant you will find, but that’s why it’s a “tavern”.The ambiance is certainly like a tavern. There is bar on the side of the restaurant if you want pub style or you can opt for sit down dining. I really enjoyed my experience and will definitely be back. By the way the restaurant was quite full, so the negative reviews don’t seem to be sticking."
