"My husband and I went to Valente's for his birthday dinner. From the reviews I read, I expected it to be good. I have to say it was sublime. There is a lot of love and work that goes into the food. Everything is fresh... it has to be because they are so small there is not freezer space to buy in bulk! We had the octopus and mussels to start, shared a fresh made pasta dish with truffles, and he had the steak and I had the pork chop for entrees. I never knew that a pork chop could be so amazing... polenta with mascarpone, cherry and fig glaze... unbelievable. Come here. Eat, drink and forget about the world for a few hours. I'm coming back with all of my besties."
