"We had reservations on Mother’s Day. At 4pm. So, I cannot complain about the food. It was excellent. But we didn’t have drinks for 40 minutes, and we didn’t have our first course for an hour and a half. Our children’s food took almost two hours to come out. At $80 a plate, PLUS a service fee for using a credit card, the bill was insane. For paying this type of money, I’d expect better service. Four times drinks were brought to our table that we did not order. The most disappointing thing was seeing the better service other tables were getting- fresh pepper, water refills without asking… we didn’t even get our table cleared without asking. At one point we had three courses worth of dirty plates at our table. There was one server in particular (not ours unfortunately) who went above and beyond for our children. She brought extra bread, paid them extra attention… I honestly wish she got the tip. Overall, food was excellent. But for the price, the service was horrible. I’d go back, and hope this was a one off… but there should have been more order with a limited menu. And we absolutely should have had the same attention we saw other tables receive."
