"When in Columbia, this is the place to go. Wonderful wine list, hard to find wines and lower prices than the norm. Awesome bourbon list, eagle rare, Blantons, Weller's. Greatest service and food. Columbia should be proud of this restaurant."

"Harris Ranch has a dilemma: how to serve as a roadside restaurant as well as a fine dining establishment. We have eaten at Harris Ranch many times and have always found the food and service excellent. Last night: not so excellent as a fine dining restaurant. On the service side, there were little things that a fine dining establishment would provide, such as the waiter refilling wine glasses when they were low or empty, which was not done, and the ambiance suffered because of the clanking of silverware as the maître d ' sorted knives, forks and spoons as they came out of the dishwasher. As usual, the food and surroundings were wonderful but these little lapses took away from the fine dining experience."

"Cool place with a casual chic atmosphere. Not too trendy, not too classic, just the perfect mix. Vichy tablecloths, red leather seats, copper and wood. Fun monkey illustrations on the wall. The room in the back is a bit fancier. Good cocktails, decent selection of wine. Live piano when we were there on a Saturday night. Service was not enthusiastic but good enough."

"This restaurant was a big disappointment and the food was way overpriced. The food quality was below average, and our server talked too much and had no knowledge of the wine or food menu. Iâve had better steaks at many more restaurants in Atlanta. Just because itâs in Alpharetta, doesnât mean it needs to be overpriced. We will not return!"

"My husband and I made reservations for Valentines Day, months in advance. We were very excited as neither had been before and heard their steaks were amazing. We arrived at checked in at the steak house and she said “you can go to the bar and we will come get you” we went to the bar and waited for about minutes for a seat there. We sat and ordered a couple drinks and were enjoying each others company when we realized it was almost so my husband walked over and checked in she said “not ready yet” we just began to get a little upset by an hour after our reservation when my husband walked back over and they set us down. The waitress came pretty quick and she was great, none of this had anything to do with her. She took our order and we got our salads within minutes of sitting down. We then waited minutes for our food. It was Who wants to eat a meal at My filet was perfect but my husbands t bone was over cooked. We are very disappointed in their lack of keeping a reservation we had made months in advance and underwhelmed with the food. The waitress and the lemon drops were the best part of our night. We spent to get home from dinner at midnight. Very disappointed"

"I had high expectations with the reviews. Planned accordingly and made a reservation. Seating was easy and not crowded at all. Ordered crab dip as an appetizer and was surprised to have it served in a soup bowl. The consistency was so thick it didn’t even fall off the spoon. The flavor was good but would have loved to see it in a flatter dish with some cheese on top. For dinner I order the filet medium. My steak was over cooked and lacking flavor. The other half ordered the crab cake sandwich. The crab cake was the thinnest, flattest crab cake I had ever seen. Parmesan crusted salmon was also ordered and came to the table burnt on the outside. When sent back and asking for plain salmon it came back to the table under cooked."

"Firefly has been around for a while. I was a fairly frequent visitor but it had slipped off my radar screen. I recently recently returned mid-week with an old friend for a quiet catching-up type dinner. Even though it was ‘kids restaurant week’ we had a delightful evening and Firefly clearly demonstrated that (a) a hotel restaurant can be consistently good and (b) an oldie can be a goodie. I arrived shortly before my friend without a reservation and was seated quickly without drama. The cocktails were delicious and the bread basket very tempting. The decor – which is insipred by a backyard scene – has aged well and is still intensely cute and the service was good: attentive but not hovering. My friend and I both enjoyed our entrees very much. I had a nice salad and a perfect roasted chicken with a delicious collard greens side. My companion had the soft shell crab. We both enjoyed reasonably-priced wine by the glass with dinner and shared the red velvet cake which was good but not up to the standard of the rest of meal particularly the hard chalky balls of ‘chocolate’ on top. Overall, Firely, although pricey, is a great evening out with good service, neat decor, good food and beverages, and pretty good desserts. Although I would caution against kids’ night, I had a great time."

"Our weekend celebration turned into a nightmare I came out of my home for the first time after my pregnancy and baby to celebrate and this restaurant server made sure that I regret later. We had a lunch in this restaurant yesterday and we tipped less than expected and thats our bad that we are sorry about. But coming after us to the parking and abusing and harassing in front of our kid and friends, instead he would just ask us politely and talking to one of us outside the car in classy and polite way so that we all could have sort this out properly. We would have been more than happy the whole evening.. he ruined our evening .. filled our heart with anger and disappointment and above all he did this when we were out with our kid for the first time. Thank you for teaching me that humanity doesn’t exist for some people."

"My dining partner and I had dinner here on Friday 8/7. As it was pouring we had no choice but to eat inside. Interestingly the restaurant called to tell me they overbooked and would gladly cancel my reservation. I'm sure my response wasn't very nice, but I did have a confirmed reservation. No problem once arriving especially in the back dining room which was fairly empty. Our waiter was great (don't know his name) and very accomodating to my dining partner who is gluten intolerant. Our salads were big, my with calamari and hers with beets. We also had edamame as an app to munch on. We then had sushi which was just fair with brown rice because it's gluten free. I thought the sushi was tasteless and I haven't lost my tastebuds yet! I've had much better sushi elsewhere! I then ordered this 11 layer carrot cake which looked great. Sorry to say, I've had much better, moister, carrot cake. Perhaps it was refrigerated, I have no idea. Funny thing is the pre-covid I really liked their Happy Hour and the sushi! Well, we are having a difficult time with all the isolation and I will surely go back to support them and it was great to be out!"

"I typically try to stay positive in my reviews, but I have to be honest about my experience at this restaurant. I had high expectations, but unfortunately, it was the worst dining experience I've had in a long time. I went on Valentine's Day and was disappointed to find that our waiter was not familiar with the menu. When we asked about certain items, he didn't even bother to check. The table next to us asked the same question, and he made the effort to find out and give them a quick response. Whenever we asked for something, he would tell us to take our time, which I found to be quite rude. The food that was served was not worth the money spent. The chicken parmigiana looked like a flat, flavorless pancake, and the Burrata cheese was average at best, especially when paired with the bread. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone and have no plans to return. I would much rather go to Max's where I can get better food and service for less money. The restaurant itself is beautiful, but unfortunately, everything else was a disappointment. I hope this review helps others in making their dining choices."

"I do not recommend anybody having their wedding here unless they want to pay for services that they will not receive. We paid over $1000 for a wine pour at dinner time and it did not happen due to short staffing. We were not aware that it would not be happening. Several guests who chose the vegetarian meal got served meat (even though we had place cards), and my niece did not even get a meal served to her! As the bride, the servers kept walking right past me with the hand passed appetizers without offering me any, and at dinner time I nearly had to beg to get my water glass filled. It was very hard to get in contact with anybody during the first few months of wedding planning. After the wedding we expressed our concerns about not receiving the wine pour, the venue not being ready for us during cocktail hour, our leftover cake and the topper disappearing, and the poor service. Not once did the owner apologize or address our concerns, they just kept saying they would get back to us (they never did). It seemed as nobody had the time of day to talk to us after we spent nearly $40k at their venue."

"Just tried to come enjoy a nice meal on a Thursday night and we were sorely disappointed. The owner would not allow us to sit outside or at a booth even though it’s a Thursday night, it’s after 6:30 so the dinner rush is over, and there was no one waiting in line and we told him we were just there for some appetizers. He was very rude when we tried to sit at one of the booths—they were all empty but he told us we were not allowed to sit there so we left. I will not be retuning. 0/10 for the vibes."

"First, there was an extensive wine list, but we soon found out there was very little in stock. We ended up having to go with our 4th or 5th choice! Service was relatively slow, so I’m glad we budgeted plenty of time prior to our show. The food portions are HUGE. Like, way too big for a single person to ever finish. Consider sharing an entree or making sure you have a place to take leftovers. I left dinner uncomfortably full."

"I met a friend there and I'm so glad we did. The service was exceptional, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was just right. It is pricey, but you definitely get a fantastic meal for the cost. This isn’t just your average hotel restaurant that you visit out of convenience; it’s a place you would choose to eat at even if you weren’t staying at the Langham."

"No ambassador on course for at least the front 9 EVEN after I called (Chrissy) at the 7th tee to identify a serious backup of golfers waiting to tee off. Went in to the pro shop and Reagan offered me a $4 credit. 18 is $47 and the issues brought up were legitimate and not dealt with and unfortunately the course management (Reagan followed course policy as Jim the manager did not return Reagan's text/call) while I was in the pro shop). I play this course about 2-3x month. A 6 hour round on a Thursday morning with great weather is unacceptable, especially with Marshall out helping to improve pace of play. Instead of taking an embarrassing $4 credit I feel that a Yelp review was on order. I know darn well that this course can and will do better."

"Once we got beyond the unfriendly and unhelpful reception desk crew on the deck and made contact with the “grown up” crew on the inside desk, all was well. (More training needed! The restaurant clearly has a real chef. The menu is imaginative and the food is good. The waitstaff is also helpful and attentive."

"the complete waiting chaos was after approx. 20 minutes visible in the dinner service. the waitress was slowly getting our drink order. drinks were healthy pouring out and well made. my wife had a lobster bite, and I had the French wobbles. the bisque was too salty and the French wobbles were best moderate. most mothers and pop djnners have served better. a caesars salad for two came out and prepared on the table. the waiter could not separate the egg yolk from the white during the first test and then drop the ice on the floor. at this point it began to be a comedy show. the Porterhouse-Steak was shared with the two of us. the waitress rubbed us in the garlic butter. However, when it came out, the butter did not melt at all on the steak. the plate was ice cold and the steak was extremely rare. so much, so it was difficult to cut. it would just splash under the knife. the steak was ordered with medium rare, but I checked the middle of the strip and it was cool on the touch! not good. even if it had been boiled correctly, it would still be tasteless and embarrassing. the waitress was told and she offered to take her back. it was my experience that if that happens, they cook the hell out of the flesh. So we decided not to consume it and cook it right at home. the waitress was more of a cure and canceled our comments as if we knew nothing. our sides were delivered incorrectly and the waitress caught only the mistake after going away and then spoke with another waiter. she came by and admired the mistake and said just to enjoy it. Now, the court was framed spinat that did not fit to serve everyone sleep to calculate for it. during the time, the kitchen staff came out at two locations to correct the waiting personnel on other tables and to cover errors. the frustration was very obvious on many of the workers faces. where they walk and come together. it was a Zitt show. on expensive poor!"

"The restaurant is part of a hotel. We were seated quickly but service was very, very slow. My wife is Celiac she ordered steak frites and because there was no dedicated fryer she asked for salad instead of fries. Even though she explained this deliberately, her meal arrived with fries, which contaminated the rest of the meal. The meal was remade 15 minutes later but arrived with salad that had croutons. Again she could not eat due to contamination concerns. Finally her meal arrived properly. The waitress was difficult to find and very inattentive. My daughter ordered crème brûlée for dessert 20 mins later my wife stepped out to go to the pharmacy 2 blocks away. She came back before my daughter’s dessert arrived. Service end to end took 3 hours. There were 3 wait staff but only 8 tables occupied all evenjng. When the bill came, there was no discount or comp offered. The saving grace was that the food was decent."
