"Anju is a great atmosphere for a smaller group of friends. The decor is simple, but yet perfect for 17th ave. My friends and I had gone on a Sunday evening after work, when trying to make a reservation online, the only times available were really late (9pm only). This was disappointing, considering when we walked in there was clearly a lot more tables open; I understand that a lot of restaurants have certain tables for reservation but we were sat at the window. Now it would have been fine if it wasn't patio season, but the way the window "table" was set up I ended up looking and watching someone eating the entire time.. (as much as I was trying not to). However the whole reason why we come to Anju is for the Crispy Tofu.. the tofu is cooked perfectly so its not rubber and the flavour between the "special sauce" and the sesame oil is to die for!! Normally that fills me up, but my friends also order the KFC sliders, the sauce on them is just right between the spice and the flavour. The only complaint I have is that we literally were waiting about 20 minutes between the Crispy Tofu and the KFC Sliders.. But overall would go back just for the Crispy Tofu."
