"I have always wanted to go to Redwood as i walk past it everyday on the way to work. So with being restaurant week, I figured this was the perfect time to go. Had a reservation for 7: 15 and I got there about 7:09. I was quickly seated outside which was very nice. My server Matt was with another table, so a nice bald gentleman took my appetizer order. The calamari. Which you would think okay that's pretty standard but nope not theirs. They were hot and crunchy, fried hard which i love. Then they are mix with sauce and banana peppers. Now prior to this I had never had banana peppers with calamari or at all for that matter. BUt now that's the only way I want them. By now Matt has come over and introduced himself and was very helpful in me making a second selection. The Salmon with a shrimp succotash!!! Now I have never been one to like lima beans BUT Redwood changed that! Between the salmon and the succotash it was too good. I happily cleaned my plate. Then for dessert, I had the mango cheesecake with a chocolate crust. WHATTT?!?!?!? That made my inner fat kid very happy. Three of my favorites all together what's better than that. I tell you, eating that on Thursday evening watching people walk by and enjoying themselves while you enjoy yourself at Redwood. I have told ever and any one who will listen about how good my experience was. I will be back for sure!!!!"

"We went there for a nice family dinner. We had some friends in town and just wanted to have the scenery. You cannot control the weather, so of course, in Florida form it rained and stormed, so we couldn’t go to the rooftop. Let’s start with a parking, no one is out there to tell you where to go or how to do anything! Yes, the valley is complementary, which is great, but it’s always backed up! On top of that, no one told us that if you parked on the third floor, you can just park there if you’re coming to eat, which would have been nice to have a sign out or something to direct traffic because the space is so small, very small it could easily cause an accident! The ambience all around was very good. The service was very bad. We got there right before the storm and Literally was probably the third table seated. We didn’t get our food for an about an hour and a half! We sat down at 7:25 at about eight 3845 is when we received our food. And all we ordered was hamburgers and salads! I don’t know what it takes to put a salad together but that’s all we ordered . Two hamburgers three salads. Tables around us were being seated and fed and served very quickly I would say within 20 minutes, but for our table which was a party of eight it took over an hour and a half! Unacceptable. We ordered risotto which we were chewing. It was very hard there was no crab meat meat in it I don’t know where it was, but it was not there! So overall the atmosphere very cute very chic , the service I will never order there, nor will I ever eat there again! Would not recommend this restaurant to anyone, especially my friends, who came from Jamaica they not impressed!"

"I'm not sure how two spaces separated by a single door can be so different. The lobby of the Seelbach is ornate, classical, and inspired. Through the door into Gatsby's on 4th and all of that is blindingly stripped away and a simple restaurant with a buffet on portable tables is all that's left. This could be literally anywhere. It was not what I expected given that it bears the name of the character that the hotel inspired, one who is wealthy, entertaining, and a fixture of American literature. No one is going to be writing a book based on this place. White walls with sparse decoration. Some interesting sconces. Its plain. Its boring. But hey, not everything has to inspire a novel, right? We visited for breakfast, not knowing it was a buffet. We probably would have kept looking had it not been so cold, but for $20 a person, it should be OK. It certainly wasn't great, but it was OK. Service, especially for a buffet, is remarkably attentive. There's not a lot for them to do, but the two women working were well-dressed, friendly, and helpful. Food was... hmmm... So, there's not a wide selection. There are a couple of tables with what is essentially an expanded continental breakfast on one and some hot options on the other. I passed on the cereal and oatmeal and went straight for the other. The eggs seemed like they came from powdered supply, the biscuits were definitely thaw and heat, the gravy was a good consistency but lacked flavor. The sausage, bacon and home fries all had good flavor! The beverage station has a selection of a couple of juices, black coffee and decaf, water, and three types of black tea and decaf. Gatsby's is a good option if you're on an expense account and need a quick meal at your hotel before heading out."
