"It was our first time there. A friend told us about it. It was a cute place and decorated nicely. The hostess wasn't that friendly for a first impression of the place. She was ok but it's nice to start in a new restaurant with a nice welcome and hello. We sat and a server said he'd be right with us. He gave us the cocktail menu without the food menu. After about 15 minutes he came back for the drink order. As he was leaving we had to ask for the food menu. We didn't get to order our food for almost a half hour. Service throughout the whole time was very slow. Once we ordered our food it took really long to come. It's a pricey restaurant for the location. I had a typical Dominican breakfast that was double the price anyplace else. Our server was very nice. Perhaps they were short staffed, I don't know."
