Fluffy and golden, a classic breakfast favorite served with syrup and a side of butter for a sweet and satisfying morning treat.

"I would rate eating out of a dumpster with Oscar the grouch as my server higher than eating here. The waitress was very unpleasant and acted very inconvenienced while taking out order. We were seated right next to the bathroom and while we were eating, staff were throwing trash bags over the deck into a dumpster below. We ordered salsa and chips and the salsa is not salsa, it’s pico de gallo. The fries are soggy and so salty I have blisters in my mouth. The food was all mediocre at best. None of the food comes with sides so you’re paying about $20 for just a sandwich that’s not even good. Overall very unpleasant experience. Save your money and go to sunset grill."

"Max's of Redwood City was once a fantastic spot for a hearty meal, group celebrations, or family outings. However, in recent times, it has started to show its age and feels outdated. The staff seem to be just going through the motions and getting through their shifts. What used to be a place we eagerly anticipated visiting has now become a last resort option."

"We had brunch today and the food was excellent. We sat at the bar and Vanessa provided us with excellent customer service. She was extremely busy fulfilling drink orders as well as taking care of all of us with food orders. This lady should be commended on how well she takes care of business. Great experience all around! Wish you were staying open longer but we will definitely be back next season. Thank you."

"Not sure why this place is not full when we go here? The food is excellent and authentic. The service is fantastic. The portions are large. And the drinks are also great. Maybe because our family likes Greek food more than others. We had brunch there on Sunday and we got the Champagne package, 3 different type of juices and fresh fruit for the glasses. We'll be back soon!!"

"After the “I don’t want eggs but I really do want eggs” debacle, we found ourselves at the Kaukauna Family Restaurant (KFR) right there on Highway (technically KFR is on Crooks Ave I was still in “no eggs” mode and forced myself to look past the usual omelets and skillets into the more carb-heavy section of the menu. The Alaskan Waffle (vanilla ice cream on a waffle) sounded really good, but also pretty heavy duty for such early morning fare. I’m also not much of a pancake fan, so I glossed over those offerings and went on to the French toast section. It was here I had to make the biggest decision of the day: did I want strawberries, bananas, pecans, or something else on...read more"

"We were a group of 20 who were offered a breakfast/lunch as part of a car show on Crescent street. Service was slow. We sat in groups of 4. We had to ask for everything several times, coffee finally arrived but the orange juice included did not... so we asked, then it was served. The pastries were also forgotten until we asked... the place was less than 1/4 full but they had problems getting the food out of the kitchen . The soup and salad arrived after 15 minutes. The mains, 3 orders of pancakes and an order of Eggs Benedict took another 30 minutes to arrive. One of a few choices on the menu. the pancakes must have waited for the eggs because all three orders were cold and the EB were hot. No salt or pepper on the tables and when we asked for salt it came in a bowl with a spoon! The pancakes(2) were average with a few pieces of strawberry, blueberry and raspberry, a dollop of real whip cream that was no longer firm.. we did tip the waitress. I think the management needs to hire more people..."

"I wish I could give this place zero stars!!! We work at a dealership locally and ordered breakfast from here this morning and we found a lovely little surprise in our food. a COCKROACH! STAY AWAY from this place you guys, there is NO excuse why a nasty bug like that should be in the food! That honestly shows this place is dirty and GROSS. Clearly the food was being eaten so its considered CONTAMINATED AT THAT POINT. IM SO FURIOUS AT HOW DISGUSTING THIS WAS. Attaching the photos of the situation we dealt with, literally puked just looking at it and its very sickening. You guys need to do a deep cleaning or STOP serving food PERIOD!!!! GROSS AND ABSOLUTELY HORRIFYING EXPERIENCE!"

"Absolutely disgraceful behavior I witnessed today while passing by 2 of your own workers. THE CITY IS FOR EVERYONE!! You do not own the side walk. You do not shoo people while they are minding their own business, not bothering anyone. The way I overheard your worker speak to people is absolutely DISGUSTING."

"Finally visited Oasis Gyros. Maybe it was a bit different before, but the interior design is beautiful and relaxing. Tried their pancakes, pommes and black coffee the pancakes were so fluffy, the pommes were also crispy. The price is decent on the basis of the portion size. The atmosphere is super plus good heating (snowing hard outside) and live music. Not too stuffed. Nice staff, keep the place clean. In the afternoon with my mother enjoyed and hoped to try her gyro next time. Come by and have something here. Good place."

"Typical Wisconsin family restaurant. The server was great. However, the prime rib was severely overcooked, and there was a hair in the dish containing the poached eggs. The restaurant generously took 10% off our bill for an inedible breakfast... Definitely will not"

"I will not be returning to this restaurant. I tried to place a delivery order online, only to find out they only offer pick-up. When I called to clarify, since I had previously received delivery from them, I was told to use Doordash instead. However, when I placed my order through Doordash, I discovered there was a $100 limit, which I exceeded due to all the added fees and taxes. Now, two hours have passed since I started this process, and I’m still waiting in the parking lot for my food. I am very disappointed with their service."

"We live nearby so usually takeout. Rabo oxtails, chivo goat, mondongo tripe soup, roasted chicken, baked grouper, shrimps these all work well for takeout, but some are only available certain days. The restaurant gets crowded, especially in the evening, so we don't eat in the restaurant that often unless we can go for late lunch before the crowds but some dishes, like grilled fish, are best to eat there while they're hot so better to eat there in the restaurant for those dishes. Malecon gets some really nice desserts tres leches and flan are very good"

"This was my first time at The Kibitz Room and I only went because I hear it mentioned often by others. It is a cute little deli, however, the employees weren’t too too nice. The tables looked a mess when we came just dirty, not cleaned up. I thought the entire place was kosher since it’s a Jewish deli but it’s not which threw me off a little since I was looking for Kosher. We still ordered the Kosher choices they had. We got the pastrami and bologna sandwich they were good but nothing over the top and the price is not worth it in my opinion. It was about 20 dollars for a sandwich I get there was a lot of meat but that’s about the only speciality. Just an interesting place. I don’t think I’ll go out of my way for it again, but maybe it was just that day they were off. Not sure."

"Update: I've returned here since my initial review and every visit has been excellent. Definitely a must try in Midtown! Really really impressed. Mind you I came here for the Valentines Day dinner, so my experience is a little different but I definitely plan to return. Gluten free accommodations were off the hook! So many options I felt like I had no limits. The food- incredibly thoughtful. Not sweet, and for me just right given that it was a 4 course meal. Portions were actually very good, by the end I was stuffed. The patio area is absolutely beautiful and one of the shining gems of this restaurant, we sat just near the glass because it was cold and we were staring out at it all night! Indoor is beautiful as well. The service was top notch. I have no real complaints here, it’s a little pricey but I knew this walking in. Loved every minute and it felt like an experience."

"We wandered and stumbled over Mavericks. We arrived and were quickly taken back to a high table. The host quickly passed before there was an opportunity to let him know that we need a lower table. While I do not necessarily look sick, I have some health conditions and I cannot sit on a high chair. My husband went back to the front and waited until he let the host know we needed another table. He didn't look happy, and my husband even mentioned that he thought he was crazy. This, along with the coloured menus, has not started well. But things smoothed and dinner was indispensable. The menu included a simple variety, a rice bowl option, a burger, a steak, a pasta option, a taco option, etc. The star of the menu seemed to be a huge pulp. We saw many of them past different tables. My husband went with tacos with crispy chickens. I landed with smashed crime scenes (without cheese). While it seemed simple enough, they were very well done and tasted better than I expected. Waitstaff was busy, sitting inside and the large outdoor seats available. If you're looking for a place to hang out with friends and drink a drink, that would be the place to go. The bar looked fantastic, many drinking possibilities, and the environment was perfect for different group sizes to come together. For someone like me, with very limited food options, it worked fine."

"Some of their meals are very good some are terrible do not order the meat loaf ever my dog won’t even eat it love the pot pie and turkey dinner meals The only problem I have is when I order for carry out I have to use cash because whoever rings me out always asks if I want to leave a tip on the card smh I worked for dominos for years and I never once asked for a tip smh tips are earned for good service and never should I be asked if I want to leave a tip and they all do it it’s like they are trained to beg people for tips"

"I don 't know what happened with Spring Gardens Restaurant. I don 't know if they changed ownership or what because the sign reads Welcome To The New Spring Gardens Restaurant . We use to go to Spring Gardens Restaurant all the Time. We stopped in there Today. Their Meatloaf recipe tastes different then it use to. It is not as good. When we arrived there, there was only 3 customers there. There was just two of us there. It still took the Waitress almost 30 Minutes to come take our order. Then it took almost 1 Hour for our order to come. This was while the restaurant was empty except for the two of us. Then we had to wait wait for the Waitress to come back. The Waitress over charged us on the bill. Prior to her taking our order, we overheard another customer talking to the Waitress about her overcharging him on his bill. I hope that the service gets better because we really liked going to Spring Gardens Restaurant"

"I came in here a couple of days ago and really liked this place. It was very clean and had a nice atmosphere. I was in here during a snowstorm with a large group. Our waitress was very friendly but a little slow. It took her quite a while to bring out our drinks. And I get that she was by herself, but it was like she was bringing out one drink at a time. She also never brought out my friend's ranch. As for food, I got the chicken wings and a salad with tuna steak in it. The wings were pretty good and the salad was very good. They were pretty liberal with the dressing, which I liked. Overall, I liked this place. They were a little pricey but the food was pretty good. They have a pretty good variety on their menu as well. The place is also dog friendly, which is cool."
