"Title: Disappointing Experience at Indian Grill in PensacolaReview:During my recent visit to Indian Grill in Pensacola, I had an underwhelming experience that left me unable to recommend the restaurant to others wholeheartedly. While I strive to provide honest and neutral feedback, it is important to highlight the aspects that fell short of expectations, namely the exorbitant prices and lackluster customer service.First and foremost, the pricing at Indian Grill is considerably high compared to similar establishments in the area. While I understand that quality comes at a cost, the prices here were outrageous, especially considering the portion sizes. It left me feeling like I didn't receive fair value for the money I spent on my meal. For those seeking an affordable dining experience, Indian Grill may not be the most suitable choice.Furthermore, the customer service left much to be desired. The staff appeared disinterested and inattentive throughout my visit. It wasn't easy to get their attention and receive assistance when needed. The lack of warmth and genuine care from the staff was disappointing and contributed to an overall hostile dining atmosphere. While it is essential to acknowledge that taste is subjective, I found the food at Indian Grill to be average at best. The flavors lacked the authenticity and vibrancy I had expected from Indian cuisine. This, coupled with the abovementioned drawbacks, made the overall dining experience less enjoyable. In conclusion, based on my visit to Indian Grill in Pensacola, I cannot confidently recommend it to others. The high prices, coupled with subpar customer service, make it a less appealing option for those seeking a satisfying and affordable dining experience. I would advise potential customers to explore other Indian restaurants that may offer better value for their money."

"I really wanted to like this place, tried 2x before pandemic and the experience was really good one time and so so the 2nd. Decided to give it another try as it’s been a few years.I went on Wednesday evening and they were offering live dosa in addition to regular menu service. Decided to try it as they offered 6 or so varieties and it was unlimited for 17.99.The first couple of dosa came out very dark and crispy so had slight bitter aftertaste. So the next rounds instructed cooked to make it less brown and it was slightly better. I tried mysore masala, andhra masala, onion , gongura paneer, cheese dosas. You are probably thinking I am a pig and how was I able to eat this many dosas. They were mini dosas luckily otherwise no way I can try all of these varieties.I didn’t find most of the combinations that impressive in terms of flavors unfortunately it could be due to the fact stuffing of dosa wasn’t very generous thus insufficient amount to bring out the flavor. Even the potato masala wasn’t that great as compared to other South Indian restaurants. They gave pani puri for those who got live dosa. I didn’t find it very good and would be disappointed if I had paid for it separately. Puri was too crisp and lacked taste. Stuffing didn’t seem to be traditional potato Chana but tomato onion mixture. There may have been potato but was such a scanty amount I missed it. Pani was meh, not terrible but not great either. The coconut chutney and sambar were delicious and the saving grace of the meal. You get serve yourself from the station set up next to live dosa. Sambar is vessel that stays warm which is awesome.Overall not sure I will do live dosa again as I felt I overate to feel I get my worth lol. For 2 ppl this meal mango lassi came out to 50 after tax and tip. This is tad pricy when food wasn’t satisfying taste wise. Those of you with less discerning taste and big appetite definitely come here.I love the concept of live dosa. And will come back to try their breakfast buffet sometime in near future.Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options and gluten free too"

"This a completely vegetarian Indian restaurant ironicly right next to a meat shop and deli. My husband and I live two hours from Woodlands but it 's more than worth the travel and gas. The food is like magic and we moan with pleasure and grin like idiots while eating. The Kofta, which are spiced potato 'meatballs ' in a tomato curry sauce sprinkled with fresh parsley and cilantro, are so marvelous the English language suddenly seems clumsy and incompetent and falls hopelessly short. The samosas are applause worthy, they are potatoes, peas, coriander, and turmeric in a deep fried triangular pastry served with chili-tamarind sauce. The coconut rice is over priced but still very hard not to get and we 're always trying to figure out what the little balls in it are. They don 't taste like peppercorns but they are about that size, whatever they are they 're good. The waiter seems deeply depressed and never smiles but is not rude. The restaurant is relatively small and cute and always has lovely Indian music playing. The menu is a very good size and the portions are generous but not ridiculous. Even the fried food is never greasy and you always feel good when you leave. It 's mostly Indian people eating here so that tells me it 's probably pretty authentic cooking. It 's not vegan friendly, there 's only about two dishes without dairy but that is what Indian food is known for. I introduced my husband to this place and he 'd never tried Indian food before, but now this is where he demands to be brought every year for his birthday. Even my four year old loves it! Can 't say enough good things about this place. It had better always stay in business."

"We recently moved to the area and this place impressed us so much, we went twice in one week! The Chicken Tikka Masala was on point, very tangy and creamy with the right amount of heat we got medium). The spicy, creamy sauce is addictive. Definitely one of the best Tikka Masala?s I ever had! The Chicken Curry is a common, stereotypical curry with really well cooked chicken. The chicken was perfectly spiced and still juicy. If this place can nail a chicken curry and chicken tikka masala, I would assume everything on the menu is great. We later went back and got the Lamb Curry not pictured) which was fantastic. The lamb was well cooked, tender, and spiced perfectly without a hint of the typical gamey lamb flavor. Each curry is specifically crafted to balance out every dish differently. The chicken curry is a lighter sauce which compliments the chicken although still heavy in a sense) while the dark lamb curry sauce really balances the meaty, hearty flavor of the red meat. Goat momos the thickness of the dough compared to the meat filling was the perfect ratio and the overall construction and seasoning of the momos was complimented by the flavor of the spiced goat meat. The texture of the momos was quite delightful. We highly recommend getting the chili momo version $1) which was a fantastic blend of coarsely chopped veggies in a sweet and spicy tomato based sauce. Overall, this place feels like a home cooked meal nothing fancy, just good comfort food. They give large portions so the price is very reasonable since you will get multiple meals out of one serving. Definitely check this place out as it will certainly cheer you up and help you beat the cold winter weather!"
