"The first time I visited this restaurant, I arrived late and it was very crowded and popular before the pandemic. There were limited seats available outside. I am a native of the area and have been living here for 25 years. There are many local restaurants in the area. However, the ambiance and exterior of this place were fabulous! I started my meal with a delicious short glass of sangria for $8, which exceeded my expectations. I then ordered the truffle mac and cheese, served in a ceramic dish, for $11. It was so good that I wanted more. I also tried the small steak empanadas with a tasty dipping sauce for $11. Unfortunately, some items on the menu like the shredded chicken with cream sauce and rice and octopus were no longer available. The waiter, busboy, and manager were all very friendly, polite, and attentive. There were many couples and families dining at the restaurant. Please note that the free Burlingame shuttle no longer runs from all the deluxe Bayshore hotels. There is a large parking lot above the road and near the donut shop. The Caltrain also runs above the road with limited trains that now skip Burlingame Avenue. The restaurant is open from 11 am to 9 pm, so be sure to check Google Maps for updated hours. The city walk has been widened compared to the sad Broadway Avenue, which has seen many closures due to high rents. Having eaten at most local restaurants, I can say that Limon is definitely a winner! Be sure to visit us soon."
