"These restaurants are mainly located in NC, but there are a few elsewhere, and so I took an opportunity to dine there during a recent trip and detoured over to Mt. Airy, NC. Upon entering the business I was immediately reminded of a similar style of restaurant, Tudors Biscuit World that are mainly found in WV, the main difference is that Biscuitville doesn't serve lunch/dinner items, only breakfast. When you walk in you are able to see the staff making fresh biscuits up at the main counter. Speaking of staff, we were greeted immediately after waking in by the friendliest ladies that gave you a similar feeling as if you'd just walked into your mother's, or grandmother's, kitchen. Our orders were prepared fresh and in a timely manner. I ordered the Biscuit Sausage Gravy, Sausage Egg Cheese Biscuit, and Bacon Egg Cheese Biscuit. All were tasty and combined made a filling lunch. The main reason that my rating is only four (4) stars is simply the size of the biscuits vs price. For a business to call itself Biscuitville, I'd expect it to serve biscuits that stood out amongst the competition, not blend in with them."
