"This place is worth the drive if you are anywhere in southern Colorado. Jean-Pierre makes the best croissants every and make sure to bring a baguette home. The cafe is right downtown in lovely Durango. You can walk around to work off some of the calories after lunch or breakfast. Their pastries are to die for. We love to go for breakfast. Omelettes are authentic french beauties and other egg dishes and quiche are terrific. Their espresso is not the best, but I may be kind of picky on that. The atmosphere is wonderful old fashioned wood and shelves full of baked goods to catch your imagination. Service may be slow, but you shouldn't be in a hurry when you come here anyway."

"This is a wonderful place for salads and sandwiches, tucked away on the first floor of some rather ordinary office buildings. If you're not familiar with it, you could easily miss it, but the line out the door during lunch hours is a strong indication of its popularity. The service is friendly and remarkably fast; the staff will even bring your food to your table if you decide to sit outside. However, finding street parking can be quite difficult. I can't blame them for that, though, as there's a garage right next to the restaurant, though we haven't quite figured out how to access it."

"Though I 'm not one to get caught up on service with a smile, I have to address how attentive, professional, and warm the servers are (I was served by Jo). The menu is thoughtfully curated, the food is made with incredibly fresh ingredients clearly chosen with meticulous discretion, and the staff is always on-point with recommendations. Portion sizes are perfect for a big breakfast or midday meal. The chef clearly had an extensive culinary education and/or the equivalent years of experience. Good, relaxed location for a date or to read a book. A little portal to a European café right in Arkansas. I highly recommend the Sesame (pictured), Florizel , and the Vienna Espresso."

"I really try to avoid bad reviews but the run around I received from this location was atrocious. On July 4, my family and I were looking to order and pick up food. We specifically checked the website which said that this location was open through 6pm. Well in advance of that time, we placed an online order (the Giardino 's website indicated other locations that were closed, some thAt were open this was closest that was open). When we arrived at the location it was closed, door locked. However, I had a charge for over $56.00 for our order. The next morning I called and spoke with a man and I explained the situation. I gave him my order number and he assured me I would receive a refund. I did not get the refund. I called back a day later, and the workers said they don 't speak English and hung up on me. Apparently there was no one at the location who could speak English. Finally, two days later, I had a fluent Spanish speaker call and explain the situation. She provided the order number and my phone number and we were told we would receive a call to handle the issue. AT NO TIME DID ANYONE CALL ME BACK. As such, Giardino 's at Brickell did not provide updated information on its website (hence the order was placed), allowed an order to be placed when they were not open, will not cooperate to issue a refund, and is "playing d to keep my money for an order never made or received. We will go to other locations but never back to this one due to the shady behavior and atrocious customer service or lack there of."

"Finally made it over to this little spot in Riverside and had a great lunch. Not at all crowded around 1:30. The food was delivered very quickly and was quite tasty. We had a 'Wow ' size of the Garden Poutine with vegan gravy and it was delicious. I took the leftovers home and five of us never quite finished them off. I 'll get the Meal next time. My daughter had a Bavarian Cream and Chocolate crepe that was yummy and I really like the option for a natural soda beverage. The Stubborn brand offered here is excellent. The Kola actually tastes like cola, minus the junk. I felt the prices were on the high side, $8 9 for a crepe seems insane when they are $5 from a (usually much more expensive than brick and mortar food truck or festival. And the double entendre of the name, especially in combination with employees in t shirts sporting phrases like, 'I got my beaver stuffed ' and 'Don 't touch my beaver ' seems sophomoric for the price point and atmosphere of the establishment. The space is lovely and reminded me of eateries in larger cities. Very much a French style cafe. The bathroom and restaurant seemed clean and new. The owner (manager? was pleasant and conversational. We will be back and if you 're on the fence go ahead and give it a shot. You can 't go wrong with cheese and potatoes. ;"

"We had a fantastic experience at the restaurant! Our waiter was incredibly friendly and offered excellent recommendations. This was our first visit, and we're so glad we followed his suggestions. When it came time for dessert, the staff member kindly welcomed us to the display case and was well-informed about all the delightful treats available. "I had a horrible experience with the service! I placed a pickup order recently and was informed that my food would be ready at 2:20 PM. However, when I arrived at that time, I found myself waiting for someone else's order to be completed. After waiting until 2:30, they finally asked for my name to check on my order, only to inform me that they hadn't even started it yet. To make matters worse, another customer who came in after me was served before my order. At this point, it was 2:35, and I asked why my order wasn’t ready, as the website indicated it would be. Their response was simply that the website was incorrect, which was incredibly frustrating. Finally, five minutes later—20 minutes past the expected time—I received my food. I chose to order online because I wanted to minimize my time in the restaurant due to the pandemic, yet I ended up standing there for 20 minutes, which is totally unacceptable. They prioritized another customer’s order over mine, which is just not right, and their excuse for the delay was ridiculous. While the food itself was decent, I will never return due to the awful service I experienced."
