"We arrived with a reservation and were seated right away with a smile, despite a busy lobby on a Friday night. Our server, Stephanie, was outstanding. She checked on us multiple times, brought our drinks promptly, packaged our leftovers as soon as we finished, and promptly provided us with the dessert menu. Many places tend to ease off once you receive your meal, but she maintained good service throughout. The food was delicious, with generous portion sizes. We ordered the Chicken Marsala, Salmon Oscar, and Chicken Parmesan. For dessert, we had the Gigi's butter cake, which was amazing. Highly recommended."

"I always enjoy dining at Maggiano’s from a typical family dinner to a romantic date night to a Thanksgiving dinner. The generous portion, great service, and quality food are always there. Our waiter, Jeremy young man with glasses was very knowledgeable, attentive, and politeprofessional. It was a special occasion my good friend, Aaron’s farewell to Germany for a great job opportunity so I was looking forward to a very nice time with him. And I got just that on Sunday. "What a great evening my girlfriends and I had at Maggiano 's. We ordered the Dinner for Four and it was outstanding. The portions were incredibly generous and beautifully served. We could not have asked for anything more. Our server began with Kim who was working a little longer so she could get us settled. Our main server was challenged with a banquet party and multiple other tasks, and Kim was gracious enough to spend a bit of time for us. Thank you, Kim!! We were seated in the bar area since I asked to be seated away from most of the customers. We tend to get a little animated in our conversations and I did not want to bother the other guests. It turned out to be perfect. Thank you to Kim and Mark for a lovely evening in which the four of us Besties rarely get together but a few times per year."

"We were celebrating my daughter’s 14th birthday. The table was too small for the six of us; I was constantly having to rearrange dirty plates to make room for us. Server was very polite but inattentive. We had to ask for water multiple times, when he could have brought us a carafe (if they have them). I had to ask for clean utensils. Restaurant tables were packed together and restaurant was loud. We have had better experiences here."

"Had a 5:15 reservation. Was not seated until after 5:30. My 97 yr. old mother had to stand with her walker until being seated. My mother had a allergy towards garlic which was told to the chef. He said he would work it out to her liking. At 6:30 we asked the waitress what was going on with the food at which time the manager came out and said they were holding the food ready until the special order was finished. He then asked us if we wanted the ready food then and not wait until the special order was ready which we said we did. We got our order but my mother did not get her order until 10-15 min. later. H e tried to make it right by not charging for my mothers plate, however, this was very unacceptable. I have been going to your restaurant for years and this was by far my worse experience."

"Reserved a 5:30pm table for 8 people and went Christmas Eve as we have for the last 6 years. We were also seated upstairs. Seated at 5:40pm. Server addressed us at 5:50 and took drink and appetizer order. 30 minutes later at 6:10pm no drinks but ordered salads entrees. 6:20pm appetizers showed up but had to ask for them to be corrected as food was missing from plates. 50 minutes into this disaster at 6:30pm server told us bar was backed up but we’d have drinks soon. (I walked downstairs and got a drink from the bar right away but ok) 1 hour later at 6:40pm drinks showed up. Excuse was the bar lost our order. (We refilled our own water glasses repeatedly because server, who had TWO tables was overwhelmed helping others while numerous “event” servers just stood there) Salads showed up but had to ask an annoyed, disinterested server for and wait on plates. 1 hour 40 minutes after we were seated at 7:20pm told waiter we had 8pm plans and needed our entrees soon. She stated less than 5 minutes. 3 minutes later (yes, the kids had stopwatches going at this point) the “food” showed up. It had obviously been sitting under heat lamps for sometime. ALL the pasta dishes were ICE COLD under hot dried out sauces, the filet was both raw and well done (that was impressive), and the asparagus risotto was a very unappetizing dried out orange color. I am actually shocked the server chose to bring the embarrassing food to the table. We refused to eat or pay for anything other than our much delayed drinks, appetizers, salads, and 1 meal that my guest insisted on eating because they were diabetic and needed to eat. Heard every excuse in the book but the restaurant controls how many they seat, when they seat them and the staff needed to maintain their desired output for guest. One of the worst meals my family has ever had anywhere. We ended up with Taco Bueno after a lovely carriage ride. Tacos were 100% better than Maggianos. Maybe that will be our new Christmas Eve tradition."

"We just love Maggiano's for food and their service. This Vernon Hills location is wonderful. The ambiance is pleasant and comfortable. They always accommodate us with our request for booth seating. The pasta dishes are just the best and oh ya...their raspberry lemonade is soooooooooooo good. I love how we start the meal with some of the most delicious fresh bread that we soak in olive oil and parmesan cheese. They have another feature that we just love. When you order one pasta, you get one to take home so that is 2 for 1 and I love that. Their lasagna is so darned good and we both just love their chopped salad. David was our server and he was just so pleasant and efficient throughout our entire meal. Our check was presented and handled quickly as well, come by and enjoy a delicious pasta dish....you won't be disappointed."

"After a slow start that had us seated nearly 15 minutes late and no one coming to our table for another ten, we had one of the waiters come to the rescue. He treated us like gold and saved the day. A manager followed up at the end with a complimentary dessert for us. Nice touch. The minestrone soup was terrific. The pasta was nice but not over the top. Tasty and hot, which is what you want. "Made a reservation for Valentine's you could have went anywhere else in the city but I wanted it to be special and experienced this place for the first time sadly I was highly disappointed. We were seated promptly but the service was awful took a while for the server to come to the table and the first thing she said was have we seen Genesis who was supposed to be our server. So we ordered our appetizers and drinks with another server who never introduced herself...and it took minutes for the drink to come and it took for the appetizer but it was Cold after that we waited another minutes or so to be able to order entrees or another so we left. Terrible food terrible service overrated"

"Maggiano's is one of our favorite places to go. As always, the food was wonderful. The service was a bit different than we are accustomed to; our waitress didn't seem to be very personable and left a lot to be desired. But everyone else made up for it hence the reason we are still giving 4 stars. There were four of us out that night and our bill was just over 200 for appetizers, entrees, and a cocktail each. Not too shabby!"

"Went there many times. Food was good quality from presentation to serving. The Zucchini appetizers is a must to try despite it being oily a bit. The mushroom ravioli, salmon, pasta were very good. It's a good mimicker of Italian food. I say this as I was in Italy so definitely the food was truly authentic. This is the only location in phoenix so no other. Plenty of parking and valet is available as well. Location in a big Plaza surrounded by offices and some medical spas. We had dessert as well. The new York cheesecake was good with the strawberries on top. Waiters are very nice, very smiling and this make the visit and dinner more enjoyable. Sometimes waiters don't like their jobs, glad this place doesn't show it. Definitely recommend."

"when we lived in vegas, we dictated several times at both locations. it's probably 3.5 years ago. our server sylvia was great! also the “One for tomorrow” deal is great. but the summerlin location has packed so many tables in the dining room that server pushed into our chairs. eating was not as good as we remembered. only 3 of our 7 people really enjoyed their meals. the others were either too salty, undercooked, lacking in hawn or taste."

"Arrived with a reservation and were told they were running behind by 30 minutes or more and were turning away walk in traffic. The bar was so packed you couldn’t even get a drink while waiting. In the end, we waited 20 minutes past our reservation time in an area near the bar that was unbelievably overcrowded. Terrible start. However, once we were finally seated we were pleasantly surprised by an outstanding waitress who was very professional, knowledgeable and infectiously happy. She made our dining experience a treat. Lastly, the food. Oh the food. What can I say. It was simply outstandingly. The bruschetta sampler and stuffed mushrooms were a huge hit at our table. The filet was better than most of the top steak houses we have been to. The desert sampler was unbelievable as well. So while the start of our experience was not good, the service and food were absolutely outstanding. If you go, pack your patience, but you wilt be rewarded."

"We dined at this restaurant for the first time on Valentine's Day for lunch with my husband. Our waiter, Gerald, was wonderfully attentive. We started with the fried zucchini appetizer, which was hot and crispy, and we really enjoyed the dipping sauce. The portion sizes for our meals were generous: I had the braised beef al forno, and my husband ordered the chicken spinach manicotti. For dessert, we shared a warm apple cobbler, which was delightful. Our total bill, which included drinks, the appetizer, two entrees, and a complimentary classic meal to take home, was a very reasonable $100. We will definitely be returning!"

"I was a bit dissapointed with my experience at Maggiano’s. First off, I placed a reservation for and arrived at to check in. I was then informed by staff that I would receive a text at to be seated. Well at I asked the front desk staff if I would be seated anytime soon, they in return stated that I would need to wait for the text because individuals are seated based on arrival. Which honestly made no sense because I had arrived early yet I was still waiting, all while random people arriving were being seated. Ultimatley, I had to end up tracking down someone to manually look up my name and was informed that their text system was down but we would be seated. Keep in mind, the couples standing next to us received a text saying their table was ready. It just seemed to be a lot of confusion, lack of ownership concerning the poor communication with seating along with down right lies."

"the first and last time! our reservation was obviously not important. it took 30 minutes to put us at our reservation time and there were 37 people waiting to sit. we have stood or the tables have not promised. for my impediment, no shelters were made or for our small children who needed either a high chair or a stand. when the manager sat on the back of the restaurant, who went through one, he suggested rudely that after sitting on a table we moved even further away from the house door and the facilities. he said I blocked the lock that I told him that his problem was not mine, because we had told them several times in advance that we need a table near the door and away from others. he rolled his eyes and went away. he didn't even try to solve her mistakes. eating was disgusting. cold, overcooked, spicy and simply a creepy mess for Thanksgiving day, clearly not to their regular farewell as I was told. many other mules felt that eating was very bad quality and taste. there were complaining about almost every table in our line of sight and in the earshot. we saw three tables of people we knew and we all talked about how bad it was. others blew in when we got out. slow service through the complete organization of the front of the house. we were treated by a very friendly and friendly server. thanks to our server that we feel like humans and not pay like the manager, hostess and person who sat us had beenhaved. we should not have to pay for our meals after we have been subjected to a clearly overbooked restaurant and have to give up the worst meal we have ever experienced. my teenager felt that he could have done better through the opening of a box chalk, and I hated to agree, but I had to. on you maggiano!"

"I do not say that maggiano’s at the pavillons is the best Italian restaurant in denver because there are a few others that I loved so much. I just say that maggiano’s is my favorite and I’m a first generation italian who eat pasta, meatballs 100 times a year for my first 20 years of life. maggiano has good pasta. it is always al dente (firm) when I order it and my favorite is the rigatoni. I ask for the rigatoni with Marinara sauce with a side of meatball and one side of sausage. I didn't melt the cheese. I eat it at maggiano as if I had made grandmas and dear old mother. I had the kalbspiccata that was also excellent. also the minenstronesuppe was particularly good this time. or maybe I was particularly hungry. I eat very easily when I have reservations for dinner at maggiano’s. I wasn't disappointed yet!"
