"After a long week of clearing out my late aunt's house in Toccoa, my wife and I decided to take a day off in Clayton to relax. We had dinner at Mama G’s based on a recommendation from the bartender at Currahee Brewing, and it was absolutely incredible. As someone who is 25% Italian and an experienced Italian cook, I can genuinely say that the food at Mama G’s is exceptional. I’m not sure how they source their fresh ingredients or where they got their traditional recipes, but everything they serve is fantastic. The service was also outstanding, so I happily left a 40% tip—it was well deserved. If you’re in Clayton and looking for a great place to eat, Mama G’s is definitely the spot to visit.
