"So I ordered food for delivery. I realized it was over an hour and my food still wasn’t delivered. Also there was no way to track my order. So I placed a call to get an update. The First Lady I spoke to couldn’t find my order so we were placed on hold. She gets back on just to say it will be another 30-35 minutes before we receive the food. So I asked to speak to the manger he explains the system was down. I stated what can be done about the inconvenience due to the fact that if I didn’t call I wouldn’t have none anything. He stated the 10% that was on the order already for ordering on their website was all he could do or a soda. We had a 2liter in our order already. Long story short I cancelled the order due to being frustrated with the Customer service as well as spending $60 and being pregnant. I will never order again!"

"Behold a hidden gem, this is the cleanest and most well kept restaurant in downtown paterson. Cant tell how nice it is to see that this restaurant gets professionaly sanitized weekly. I dont think i have seen this anywhere in paterson. You have to walk in to see for yourself how clean and well maintained this is compared to other restaurants in the area. I have come to learn that this a 3rd generation family run restaurant who have been serving the latin community 60 years . A nice variety of tradition central american drinks with a full bar . "The Spanish-themed restaurant is beautifully adorned with an authentic atmosphere that truly captures the essence of dining in Spain. When we visited for dinner on a Saturday, we were lucky to snag one of the last high tables since most of the restaurant was already booked. The tapas options are listed under the Appetizers section and are quite generous, easily serving 3-4 people. We sampled the shrimp and chorizo combo, traditional octopus, and mussels. The shrimp and chorizo dish was especially tasty, with a delectable sauce. The octopus was also quite enjoyable. However, the mussels and seafood marinara were just average. The marinara dish includes lobster, but unlike other upscale restaurants, they do not shell it for you. Unfortunately, the lobster was overcooked and tough. The service was good, though the food took a while to arrive. They also have a variety of drinks and a skilled bartender."

"Our bartender, Pedro, was fantastic. We were just passing through Harrisburg for the night and happened to stop at El Sol. They make the best margaritas you’ll ever taste! We ordered a Queen margarita and two sets of tacos, and everything was delicious. Next time we're in a new city, we’ll be sure to ask the locals where to eat and drink, and I’m confident we won’t be disappointed!"

"I was visiting from Brooklyn with my family, my sister lives in the area and invited us.. I ordered bolon mixto and coffee.. It was very good.. unfortunately, as others have noted the waitress was unfriendly. When she brought the food, we would say thank you and she didn’t bother to reply you’re welcome (we spoke in Spanish). When we paid and we’re getting ready to leave she didn’t say a word. It’s very awkward to see a waiter/waitress with lack of manners, it’s unpleasant. Hope they find better staff to attract my customers."

"Don't miss the patatas bravas! We get two orders of the chunky fried potatoes in a zippy, moderately spicy sauce. Our family has been coming here for years and we love Esperpento. The tapas menu is varied and the food is consistently good. The vegetarian is happy with the many vegetables available (especially grilled artichokes and grilled asparagus with garlic and the cheese selection. There are plenty of seafood dishes and we always get the grilled trout and the sauteed shrimp with garlic. There are slow cooked stews of beef, rabbit and goat and they are rich and delicious. It's small plates for sharing so expect to order 2 4 dishes per person. And it's very reasonable! We had a plentiful lunch on Saturday that with tip was about $25 per person it was our first stop of the day so we weren't ordering alcohol. (There are also large paellas for sharing but we haven't tried those. The decor is colorful and warm but the place isn't fancy, so choose it for fun and casual meals rather than a glammy date night. Their sister restaurant, Picaro, will give you a similar menu and vibe.Dietary restrictions: I need to eat gluten free and they are conscientious and knowledgeable about their menu items."

"I went in today with a party of friends to celebrate my birthday. I choose the restaurant because the staff to the service has always been accommodating to its guests. The host was very welcoming and our server Selena was very polite and professional. Her recommendation of the “Picada” for our big table suit perfectly for the number of people invited. "Terrible experience... The service was awful, and the food was bland and lacked seasoning. I requested a diet Coke but was given regular, which is concerning since I'm diabetic and pregnant. My husband ordered his steak medium but it came out well done. I also specifically asked for the vegetarian dish without chicken, and yet it still arrived with it. The atmosphere was extremely loud and unpleasant. Additionally, items included in the prix fixe dinner were missing, and we never received the dessert that was supposed to be included."
