"A pleasant surprise! I never really thought of Columbia as a dining destination. Having lived there for years, I found the cuisine to be quite limited and lacking in creativity. However, Colas was a delightful discovery. The staff was very friendly and attentive. We started with a fried okra and goat cheese appetizer that was absolutely delicious. We also sampled the coconut shrimp and pimento cheese appetizers. While they weren't groundbreaking in originality, they were well-executed and beautifully presented. The salmon was cooked to perfection and served over the creamiest grits I've ever tasted. The trout was also a hit. We had no room for dessert, which is always a good sign! This restaurant prioritizes service and quality, and they are doing everything right. I look forward to my next visit!"
