"We had the crawdad stuffed beignets, the gumbo, Blackened Catfish Napoleon smothered with shrimp etouffee and the Gulf Fish. It was the best meal we had during the 4 days we were here and we ate at some really great places. The service was a bit slow. Other servers helped us more than our own server did but maybe she was new. This will definitely be on our list for a return visit next time we're in town."

"The entrees were perfect; the filet with crabmeat was cooked to perfection, and the artichoke encrusted red fish was amazing. The tuna appetizer and Street Corn Bisque were very tasty and different from anything I've had before. Dessert was an experience in and of itself. My wife had the doberge cake great! And I had the seasonal bread pudding that night it was chocolate chip; it ranks as one of the best bread puddings I've ever had."

"SO ANGRY! Today is my 60th birthday and all I have been craving was pizza. My husband and I had a couple of drinks at the bar and then ordered a pizza. I SPECIFICALLY mentioned how much I HATE anchovies, but my husband likes them. We EVEN had a conversation with the bartender about this!We ordered a pizza with anchovies on ONLY 1/3 because the taste spreads.We got home and the pizza is covered with anchovies.It may not be a big deal to some, but as my “requested” birthday dinner, it WAS a big deal to me.I called them and they took my number and as of yet, I’ve heard nothing. So very disappointed in The Tavern."
