"I came here with my food group and we were all so pleased with this place. Our server Eric was just fantastic, he made great recommendations, was very attentive, and quick to go out of his way( taking out pictures). We started with the Escargots à la Bourguignonne and the Napoléon de Champignons Sauvages (mushrooms) and both were just delicious!! The escargot was my favorite of the two though, it was FULL of flavor. Next time I will order two of them for the table. For my entree I had the Canard Rôti au Cassi (duck) and once again, full of flavor. This place really knows how to season their food. I couldn’t have picked a better plate. For desert we tried them all lol and my favorite was the Tarte aux Pommes (apple tart). I love this place. They knocked everything out of the park. I didn’t have high expectations given that it’s in a shopping center, but boy was I wrong!"

"Not my kind of place. The bar / tavern had screaming, loud customers on a day when there was no one around. Really a tasting menu, teen plate, teen servings, bad value for money. The waitress told me that the green peppers in my clam chowder were mild - they weren't and had to spit out with a burning mouth. Really embarrassing when I was treated. Instead, they gave me asparagus. Your only vegetable. They didn't notice that my water glass was empty and I had to request it. Backless benches to sit in the tavern / bar, but you can request an uncomfortable chair. Not a place where you, like me, eat a lot of healthy protein and vegetables. I don't like leaving a restaurant where I feel bloated with too much food, but I don't want to go hungry either. The coffee was good after the meal."

"Thanks to our Michigan friend's' recommendation, we had a fabulous experience at S. Side Bistro; taking Anchorage friends for their 2nd time. Highly enjoyable corner booth, offered views of a very efficient staff other diners! We'd return in a heartbeat!"

"Amazing salsa !! Great service and a fun environment !!! But they need better chefs with more than one cooking style who know how NOT to overcook all the meat they offer. ALL dishes taste very similar! All with burnt burn marks on "whatever" meat, mixed with similar spices and all well done to finish cooking. The burned cremation, like a fajitas, but for every dish? This is the second time that I had to come here with the same results ... I refuse the next time I am invited ... Maybe have a drink because the mood is good and fun ... she just need better cooks ..."

"I hate to have to write this and it was during the holidays, yet it was a horrible evening. When we arrived, I heard the manager offering apologies and a round of drinks to a group of 8. Already, I had a bad feeling. We sat in a back room (why it was so quiet) and were immediately notified by the neighbor table that they had been waiting over 1 hour for dinner. I had to walk through the restaurant to locate a server to take a drink/food order. Drinks came 20 min. later; food arrived 50 min later and this was after I walked back through the restaurant to find the manager who told me that they were down a cook and that everyone was sick including himself. Dinner immediately became less appetizing. When dinner finally did arrive, it was completely inedible. The food was just plain gross. None of our foursome ate anything. We paid, left and ordered a pizza on our way home. On the way out, we made the suggestion to the hostess stand to at least set expectations for their diners that due to the holidays/low staffing, that the wait is much longer than usual."

"I absolutely love this restaurant. The first time I went, was before the pandemic, and it took another two years actually three before I could get back there. It was worth the wait. The food is divine and the service is expert. Really highly recommend this restaurant. I had dinner there and breakfast. I must if you were in Palm Springs."

"Maybe for you but not for us. The food was ok, but as someone who regularly enjoys fine dining, I was less than impressed. Item descriptions were enticing, but the food left a bad aftertaste (some experienced indigestion). Nothing worth complaining about to staff but certainly worth a mental note. We took leftovers home that we ultimately threw away after deciding it wasn't worth it. Note: It's better for bartenders at establishments such as this to admit when they can't make a requested cocktail instead of experimenting. The caprese salad description makes no mention of onions, but it definitely comes with onions. Be sure to inform your server if you intend to split the check. The mood noticeably changed after we mentioned a split, which we ultimately didn't request due to the uncomfortable response and found odd because it severely impacted the server's tip. Great setup but just not for us. I can't envision a circumstance that would compel us to return, but that doesn't mean others shouldn't give it a try."

"I LOVE eating meat chicken, steak, pork, you name it. I am a pretty big guy (6'2', 240) who loves a good bacon cheeseburger. Naturally, I was skeptical when I stopped into this vegetarian spot with my wife and her friend. But, man was I proven wrong! I had the Cobb salad and even tried the Curry Soy Chicken salad and a gluten free pumpkin whoppie pie. I LOVED EVERY BITE! I would highly recommend Claire's to anyone and everyone even my fellow meat eaters. Really great really REAL food! Thanks!!"

"Great options for indoor and outdoor seats. I had one of my favorite Pinot Gris Annie-Amie here. The food was fast and I had a nice burrata and tomato jam salad. I really liked it. The price was standard and the size was right for me, but I can imagine that others say this is overpriced for a little dinner. Couldn't hope anymore! The desert was like a surprise on the photo. I recommend the Haystack. This is definitely a place I hope to return and try the other dishes."

"I was pleased to see that they offered a dedicated gluten-free menu and informed our server of my celiac condition, making it clear that I would only be ordering from that menu. My partner, who has no allergies, joined me in the meal. We started with roasted bone marrow, but I noticed it was a bit troubling when the server brought it out on a separate plate alongside bread, balancing both plates on the same arm. Things took a turn during the main course when I realized that the halibut was served on a large bed of farro. I confirmed this with my partner, and after waiting over 15 minutes, I finally flagged down our server to address the issue. While the dish was taken away, there was no follow-up, apology, or acknowledgment from anyone, including a manager who appeared to be present at the entrance and overseeing the kitchen. It's worth noting that we arrived shortly after dinner service began, and the restaurant was quite empty with only three other tables occupied. We decided against dessert because I was feeling unwell and didn't want to risk waiting for another course. Although the food itself was fantastic, I left feeling anxious about my safety and will not return due to this experience. I'm really disappointed."

"I had been sent off by a few people because I LOVE prime rib. I had just heard great things about the restaurant. Unfortunately the whole experience was disappointing for us. We had reserved at the open table and requested a stand. When we got there, the hostess didn't confirm our reservation when we told her we booked them online and still got us to a table. She was our waitress and was pretty good. The drinks were well made but small for the price. We ordered the prime rib. I got the girls cut and my husband got the kings cut which is about a $ 20 difference in price. When they came out, they were exactly the smaller portion I ordered in length and thickness. We ordered medium rarity (which it came out like that), but it had no flavor and was extremely tough. If there's one thing I love almost as much as prime rib, it's ranch dressing. It was chunky and tasted terrible. (and no, it wasn't blue cheese) To get our USD 100 bill at the end of our meal, we were both utterly disappointed with the entire meal. The quality did not reflect the cost."

"I use to go here for the Chicken Breast stuffed with Ham and cheese. Even though the waiter admitted it was there most popular dish the management refuses to put it back on the menu. My wife usually got the fish of the day. Saturdays fish of the day was scallops for it wasn't shellfish of the day. The staff did not seem to like what they were doing, they seemed unhappy about something. I finally ended up with the Seafood crepe, there was too much of the overly thickened sauce which completely drowned out the crepe. I write this review not because I am angry with the restaurant but because I loved the I use to go to and something, I don't know what, has changed (typically with this kind of fall it is the new management, but I don't know if the management has changed). I'm not sure how I will know it is worth it to go back"

"Then our entrees arrived, but the staff member who brought our food set it down and immediately walked away, which meant we couldn't inform her that she had brought us the wrong order. Our waitress, who was polite but not very attentive aside from collecting the bill, eventually came over and took quite a while to bring the correct dish. My boyfriend ordered a sausage egg sandwich, but after a couple of bites, he realized it was undercooked (pink and runny). When we pointed this out to the waitress, she explained it was just the type of sausage they used. Fortunately, she removed the sandwich from our bill without us asking. During the service, another waitress who was clearing a nearby table didn't notice that she spilled coffee on the floor next to us as she walked away, coming dangerously close to spilling it on me. Thankfully that didn’t happen, but she also neglected to clean up the mess."

"I asked a friend traveling to Los Angeles to pick up a bottle of Port Charlotte OLC:01 from their store. The employee at the store offered to bubble wrap the bottle for travel safety but mistakenly swapped it with a bottle of Port Charlotte 10. This is a dishonest business practice known as bait-and-switch, as the OLC:01 is significantly more expensive than the PC 10. I am very disappointed and upset about this incident, and I hope it was just a genuine mistake. It will be difficult to recover from this expensive error. This situation feels almost unbelievable."

"Great spot in the east village. Super cute inside with some old New York charm. Service was great, always checking in and refilling water. Food was great. Order the roasted eggplant that they prepare tableside. For dinner we ordered pizza sacclia, portofino ravioli (handmade and stuffed in cheese sauce), and lemon pasta (this one was good nothing special) and our bill was VERY affordable."

"I like this place, it's got the old rustic but warm feel. Reminds me of Key West (one of my favorite place to relax and unwind). The server was pleasant and there was no waiting when we got there at around 4PM. Coconut shrimp appetizer was pretty good. I had fresh caught fish with rice and vegetables, the fish was well prepared and it had just the correct amount of seasoning. the view was nice but then the rain came and we had to run inside. My family enjoyed their meal and no one complained about any of the food so it was good.Down side to this place is that the outside tables were sticky, I believe it's from the plastic covering breaking down from extensive sun.Definitely a place I would revisit and try other menu items.Adryon"
