"The cheese pizza I had was quite filling, but that’s where the positives end. The cheese had a rubbery texture, the sauce was insufficient and bland, and the dough was chewy, lacking both flavor and proper cooking. Overall, the pizza reminded me of the kind I endured in school, which I was eager to forget—definitely not a good sign. While pizza is generally an affordable meal option, these plain slices were over $3.50 each! For something so basic and unappealing, that's outrageous. There are countless places in and around NYC that offer much better pizza at lower prices. It's shocking how expensive this disappointing pizza is, especially given how many tourists and locals the restaurant attracts. The price for a whole pizza is somewhat reasonable, at least. Unfortunately, the worst part came shortly after finishing the pizza—I experienced a severe stomachache that felt like intense menstrual cramps for hours. I completely lost my appetite for dinner and only managed to eat some fruit, which was uncomfortable to do. It’s worth noting that I hadn’t eaten anything else beforehand, so the pizza was definitely the culprit. Who knows, maybe there was actual rubber or plastic in that cheese? I wouldn’t be shocked. The pizza on display also looked dry, overly thin, and of poor quality. Additionally, I’ve ordered from here before, and I can confirm that you cannot microwave this pizza. It cools down rapidly, so if you order more than one slice, reheating is almost a necessity. However, when you do, the pizza becomes even tougher and chewier (and tasteless) than before. Trust me, do NOT microwave this pizza. I’ve tried it and regretted ordering pizza entirely. I wouldn’t have bothered writing a review if it weren't for the stomachache—it truly was the last straw. This place will definitely be my last choice for takeout on the island from now on."

"The margarita pizza. This pizza was so good and fresh, and a pretty big slice! I enjoyed it very much and it was my first time here. I am from Brooklyn and this pizza was delicious! "We just dropped in to grab something to eat.. Table was dirty and with very sticky surface.. Waiter was extremely rude. . Ordering buffalo wings and specficly asked for mild sauce, we got them with sauce like someone dropped the tabasco sauce in it.. Ordering pizza with tomatoes and basil, it had no basil, and when we asked the waiter, he insisted the pizza should not have basil until we pointed on the menu showing the pizza should include it. He had pointed at dry spices in small containers on the table to sprinkle over the pizza. No one should spend time or money to visit this restaurant."

"I love this place, good price, delicious. I would love to give 5 stars.But today I buy 7 breakfast platter, each has 2 egg, some bacon, 2 hash brown, and French toast.I paid $113+ in cash. It means each one is $16.2 after tax and cash discounts. Their lunch is only $10.8…for 1 meat and 2 sides.There must be something wrong with my receipt lol. Sadly I lost my receipt and cannot go back.I strongly suggest they change their menu. It’s too old, hard to read, and no price on menu. Price can be more transparent. Hunter college students are the new generation. You will have more business from them if you update some of the store.If the owner see this review today and still remember me, please recalculate the price for me lol. I will go back to take a refund if there is something wrong and change it to five star lol.I will buy only the lunch if the $16+ for breakfast platter is correct…."

"Pasta Vita has become a staple for us during Covid the portions are very generous, tasty, and easy to heat up. We keep a few meals from Pasta Vita on hand each week in the fridge to make our lives easier and we always look forward to them. "The service was terrible; the staff was rude and unfriendly. A waitress even threw a towel in our direction to clean up a spill, which was really unprofessional, especially since we were the customers. Dirty plates were left on our table, and the food was served cold. To make matters worse, the owner checked the temperature of someone’s takeout by sticking her finger in it and then actually licked her fingers! I would never return to this restaurant, and I highly recommend staying away."

"Called to place an order for delivery at 5:07 pm and the order never arrived until 6:43 pm! After calling twice to see where the driver was, they said they didn’t know.. when the food finally arrived the delivery driver drove away and was sight seeing!!! The food was good, not the best. The staff was irresponsible by not even calling us to let us know they were lost which we would have been more than happy to help assist with directions. "I also tried the wings, which had surprisingly good hot sauce, and the cheesesteak, both of which I liked. During my visit to the new, larger location, I tried the chicken Parmesan dinner, which was a huge and delicious portion. The side of pasta and salad were also generous servings. I will definitely be returning for this dish in the future. The two-slice pizza deal was a great value and the pizza itself was excellent, with a thin, crispy crust and plenty of toppings. Be sure to save room for a cannoli, as it was also very good. Overall, this restaurant is a fantastic addition to Center City Chalfont and I highly recommend it."

"THIS WAS A 5 place a 1.5 Yrs ago! My GO TO FOR EVERYTHING!!! Now since there’s been NEW OWNERS it’s TERRIBLE!! The straw that broke my back was when I ordered my go2 chicken cutlet calzone, I ordered it as usual, was eating it as I felt a hair in my mouth, I went to pull it PRAYING it was just mozzarella cheese, but no, a long blondish hair came out still attached to the chess and chicken I was chewing, THE HAIR WAS BAKED INTO THE CALZONE! It didn’t just fall on-top, it was in there!?? I also have short brown hair, Like VERY SHORT. When I called flipping out and asking WHY THE COOK DOESNT WEAR A HAIR NET, they put me on hold for 3-5 minutes then the owner picked up and said “Sorry sir, but we take all the necessary health code precautions here” that’s when I said “ LISTEN UP, I have a 8 inch long medium BLONDE hair in my hand right now, SO IF YOU HAVE A PERSON MAKING CALZONES WITH THE SAME HAIR, YOU BETTER APOLOGIZE AND TAKE RESPONSIBILITY OR ILL HIRE THE BEST LAWYER ALIVE, Give him this hair to run a DNA TEST ON AND IF THIS PERSON EVER WORKED FOR YOU, I WILL OWN YOUR RESTAURANT! To which he pauses, then apologized and asked if I wanted a new calzone or money back? I said I want my money back and they can come get the calzone, minus the hair.They did not come but I got a refund a month later when I filed the complaint with my card.Had this man just apologized at first, I’d have been ok with it, Not order ever again but I can understand an employee not doing what they’re supposed to. But trying to turn it around on me when I told him the hair color and length, that I got me very upset! Especially with their price increase and charging for every little thing, EVEN MUSTARD ON MY PASTRAMI ONCE!! SMH. DONT BUY FROM THIS LONDIS, Idk about the rest!"

"This is a pretty good spot. Right in the financial district. My company is primarily WFH, but pre covid this was a very popular spot for me and my coworkers. I still come here on my scooter even though i WFH, because my scooter can get me here in like 15 minutes.Their Buffalo chicken in particular is very good. Trust me, I know my Buff chicken, I have it frequently...and their's is very good. I would highly recommend this restaurant...They're also fast and nice."

"Pasta Vita bills itself as Gourmet to go and they do a delicious job! First, the quality and taste of food is fantastic. Most of the dishes they prepare are enough for two, with sides if you're big eater. From salad to stromboli, with chicken and pasta dishes in between and it is what you would expect from a restaurant at a fair price.Then, the staff are very friendly and service forward. "We had not been here for a while, but decided to visit since it is conveniently close. What a disappointment. I ordered an Eggplant Parmigiana Hero. Took my first bite and knew I made a mistake. It was like eating a bread and sauce and cheese sandwich. The sauce tasted like diluted tomato paste, but what was worse was their excuse for the eggplant. It was sliced so thin that you could not taste nor recognize it was eggplant. It was still breaded which added to the bread on bread taste. A total ripoff. We will not be back! By the way, our server whose name I think was Angelina was terrific, pleasant and professional."
