"There are so many delicious pastries that it’s hard to choose just one! I felt like I was in heaven at this place! The staff is incredibly friendly, and there are tables where you can sit and enjoy a coffee and pastry. We did just that, savoring a sweet treat while watching fresh trays of delights come out from the kitchen. They offer stunning cakes for any occasion, and we took home a wonderful selection of pastries. Every bite was blissful, and I’m just a bit sad because we finished them all! On my next visit to New York, I definitely need to come back here... the cannoli, biscotti, Easter bread... I could keep going, but writing this review is making me crave more!"

"I was short. I needed a cake in a hurry. it was my daughter's birthday. I have a red velvet, cannoli donuts and chocolate covered strawberries. they have tons of other choices to choose. the lady who participated in my order was so nice. I want to try her tiramisu. my family and tried everything I had bought. I liked the fact that the red and wet was. I'm not crazy about red, but my daughter loves it. that was a hit with us. I like the fact that they have been in operation since 1945. that helped me out what bakery I wanted to choose for my cake. I'm going back."

"The food was authentic and very good. The service was also fantastic. The only downside was that they do not serve alcohol. We had to go to the liquor store a few doors down to get wine and they uncorked it for us (they did not charge us a fee). A tiny bit of an inconvenience, but I would expect wine to be on the menu at an Italian restaurant."

"The food was authentic and delicious, and the service was outstanding. The only downside was the absence of alcohol on the menu. We had to walk a few doors down to a liquor store to buy some wine, but they kindly uncorked it for us without charging a fee. It was a minor inconvenience, but I would typically expect an Italian restaurant to offer wine."

"I'm not sure how this restaurant has such great reviews, but the desserts I had were terrible! The ratio of chocolate to cannoli filling was overpowering, and the cream inside was excessively sweet. The cakes looked nice but tasted awful. There was an imbalance between the cake and the cream; there was way too much cream, which wouldn’t have been an issue if it had been good. The cream had a greasy taste, and they seemed to try to mask the poor quality of the ingredients with sugar, making the cakes overly sweet. The sponge cake at the bottom was dry and crumbled when I tried to cut into it. Overall, it was overpriced."
