"The absolute BEST Mexican food I 've had in a LONG TIME! Super impressed! I randomly stumbled upon this spot on Yelp while searching for Mexican food /tacos in the area and it surely did not disappoint! The surprising part is I have passed this place a million times without ever knowing it existed! lol. From the looks of it you could easily overlook this spot but it 's honestly amazing if you are open minded enough to give it try! If you love AUTHENTIC high quality MEXICAN food you will be hooked in no time!We arrived and were told we could pick any spot in the place so we choose a cute spot next to their Mariscos logo LED sign. They have a super cute decorated outdoor seating area (granted it is right next to a busy expressway but the decorative wall they put up definitely helps you forget that! We were greeted right away and given complimentary caldo de camarones (aka shrimp soup with tostadas and crackers to dip into it. We were so surprised with the delicious flavor and prefect mixture of spices in the soup. Mm mm! The next thing that blew me away was their awesomely extensive menus, they 're HUGE and they have photos of every food item available. It 's amazing! Talk about sensory overload.. lol. I was HYPNOTIZED with their super detailed menus, all the photos of the food look super delicious and delightful! I was legit amazed with the detail that they put into these menus. I was also impressed with the HUGE variety and large selection of different food dishes that they offer. This is by far the most detailed, visually appealing menu I 've ever seen in my life. The photos were so helpful in my decision but everything looked so amazing it was almost hard to decide! lol. When we finally decided on our items we ordered the Tacos Presidenciales, Molcajete Maleficio, and Sushi Pastor. Did I mention they offer sushi with a Latino twist on it?! YES! We were so impressed and curious as to what a Latino representation of sushi that includes el pastor would be like. We 've never seen anything like it in any Mexican restaurant, so we HAD to give it a try! lol. While we waited for our food we enjoyed watching the soccer game on their flat screen TV on the wall and we took photos next to the Mariscos Costa Alegre sign because we were so excited to try the food here. lol. When our food arrived we were SO BLOWN AWAY with the top notch amazing flavors, large quantity, and authentic quality of everything. I am absolutely IN LOVE with their Taco Presenciales! They are legit some of the BEST tacos I 've ever had in my life. I was telling my bf I swear it has spicy Mayo on it and low and behold menu states chipotle Mayo hehe. The outter taco shell is lightly fried with melted mozzarella cheese inside, deliciously seasoned shrimp, pico de gallo, lettuce, and aguacate sauce. Talk about Taco HEAVEN. #OBSESSED lol. The sushi roll was impressive as well. We were so excited to try sushi with Al pastor meat on top, and it was delicious! The sushi rice seemed to be either baked or fried so it definitely is not your standard sushi, but it was still delicious and worth the try! My bf ordered the Molcajete Maleficio and unfortunately it was a bit too SPICY for him he said it was covered in DEATH sauce which we both laughed about obviously! lol. He usually LOVES spicy but it was a bit HOT HOT. lol. We are hoping to try it again sometime but we will ask for a milder version of course (if that 's possible.. lol. The presentation of the seafood mocajete was absolutely STUNNING so much shrimp, lovely cuts of fruit, and so juicy all packed into a large molcajete bowl.Overall I will say I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this spot! Especially if you 're in search of genuine, high quality, AUTHENTIC, Mexican cuisine. (Aka not those fake Mexican restaurants that are so popular but super Americanized.. lol. The food is AMAZING, the service here is GREAT, the food arrives fast, and the prices are GREAT as well so it is very budget friendly! A few tips to note: 1. Some of the workers do not speak English, so having a friend"
