"Old School Mexican Restaurant, Flavors, took me back to the tastes I haven't experienced in 20 years! I absolutely enjoyed the chips and spicy salsa they brought to our table after we placed our orders. I usually prefer milder flavors, but the heat of the salsa reminded me of the bold intensity you find at places like Pinstripes in the Arboretum of South Barrington. I was pleasantly surprised to discover this hidden gem in Crystal Lake. It brought back such wonderful memories that I can’t wait to return for a second visit. I've been to countless Mexican restaurants, but none have reminded me of my childhood like this one. I highly recommend this place to everyone, and I can't wait to return with friends next time!"

"Although the menu is in Spanish, it features lots of pictures, so you know exactly what you're ordering. The staff is wonderful—friendly, fun, and all bilingual, so they can easily help you with any questions you might have. As an added bonus, they serve an amazing frozen margarita, and their bar is well-equipped to make just about anything you could want! You definitely need to check out Las Islitas, the best seafood restaurant in Metro Atlanta…the islands are just waiting for you! Kid-friendliness: The staff is fantastic and very family-oriented. There’s also a small arcade with some fun machines that accept quarters, and they even have a change machine!"

"Service was really bad. Had to tell the waitress 3 times to bring water and my drink. After about 30 minutes, the manager asked if everything was good, and he ended up bringing my drinks. Be advised that food prices are a bit on the expensive side. I had fish tacos, and they were pretty good. The rest of my party said food was just ok, and they had better. If the 3 piece band is there, it will be extremely loud, like you can't talk to the people sitting right next to you loud. They are hooked into a sound system that is way too loud. They charge $25 per song request played at your table. The place was pretty busy when we went on Sunday, and I really don't know why. A family of 4 has got to spend at least $125 bucks. Our table of 6 was at $200. Would I go again? No"

"This place used to be good in the 1990's with decent quality meat especially the chicken that they used was real chicken. Now the taco truk has gone downhill. I'm not sure what type of mystery meat they use now to pass off as chicken but it was not good. I stopped by the taco trucc at midnight since everything else was closed. I ordered a chicken burrito and each bite I took was full of nasty cartilage. Basically each chomp I had was busy spitting out nasty chunks of cartilage. The quality of meat is disgusting. Even my friend threw her chicken tacos away because she kept biting into chicken cartilage. R.I.P 1990's El Tapatio 1/5"

"The food wasn't as hot as it normally is when it comes out. Usually it's got steam coming off of it but not this time. I would have sent it back if I hadn't been so hungry. And we had to wait as well. There was only one server and it took her a while to get to us. I have been a server myself but you don't leave one table waiting to special cater to another."

"This is a delightful seafood restaurant! I dined here several times during my visit to relatives in the High Desert area. The food is excellent, with a wide variety of options to choose from. The wait times are reasonable, and there’s ample seating to relax and enjoy your meal. My last visit was on the last day of 2021, and the dish I ordered was both delicious and reasonably priced. I also recommend trying their margaritas; they’re quite good, albeit a bit on the pricey side, but I found them enjoyable. The staff here is incredibly helpful, friendly, and polite. If you’re a fan of seafood, I highly recommend checking out this restaurant!"

"Places order via telephone for pick up. Order: Vuelve a la vida coctel, 2 tacos de Marline, Campechana, 1 taco de la sierra, 2 Tacos gobernador, and 2 tacos Camaro. We actually got 2 tacos de la sierra. The Campechana was flavorless, had to add tons ofketchup lime to get it to taste okay. The worst thing is I got a small rubber inside my Campechana probably from a bottle).They mix small shrimp with larger shrimp. Not all the shrimps are clean : . The tacos were tasty."

"Bad service. There was no reason to be rude! When we got there, we went inside (3rd time going there. There was no one at the door. Like always. So we decided to go sit at a table. And this waiters come and told us y’all can’t sit where ever you want(in a rude tone and we felt uncomfortable and decided to leave. Didn’t even order nothing and decide to go somewhere whose has good service and isn’t rude and wants my money. She could’ve said it nicely but it’s d because we been there 3 time and this never happen. And I’m not gonna lie the food is good there but I don’t think I will go back if they have that rude lady. "Amazing food! Fried Shrimp and crab legs are served in large portions and the seafood is fresh and sooo good! Everything we try here is really good, served quickly, hot and fresh. The service staff is really attentive and friendly. Prices are reasonable. Cool atmoshere! The parking is cramp, and it 's hard to get in and out of parking lot if busy, but the food is worth the hassle. A must visit Grand Island restaurant. The menu is really varied and there are so many unique dishes to try, all with a 'Central ' American twist. South of the border seafood at its best. "This restaurant has an outstanding location, friendly staff, and delicious food. There's plenty of parking available, and the restrooms are impeccably clean.
