"My pregnant sister stated I really want Indian food so let's visit this Indian restaurant one of our mutual friends recommended. We were excited and a little nervous because I've had excellent Indian food in Florida and we did not know what to expect. I called prior to us heading to the restaurant to confirm they are open and seating people due to Covid. The person who answered stated yes, and asked me how many people will attend and what time will we be arriving. I advised two people to arrive in 15 minutes. When we arrived there were two gentlemen finishing their meal and us. There was a little bakery area and a lot of take-out orders in the front of the restaurant. I would not recommend this place as a romantic date night. The atmosphere is more like fast food take-out place or dining place. The man seated us at a table, grabbed two plates, two plastic silverware, one plastic container of water, and 2 plastic cups. What we ordered: Two chicken vindaloos (chicken cooked with potatoes in spicy hot sauce) one mild and the order spicy along with two orders of garlic naan bread (whole wheat bread cooked tandoor topped with garlic), and one can of Sprite, and one can of diet Coke. The food came out pretty quickly. We were very disappointed that the rice came out cold, not warm but cold. The temperature of the chicken vindaloos was hot. We advised the waiter the white rice was cold and he immediately took the white rice to the back. Several minutes later he ended up bringing us hot rice. The portions are very small to me as they are served in individual clay-looking containers. The garlic naan bread was our favorite and we dipped the bread in the chicken vindaloo sauce. My food was mild but could not really eat it because it was so spicy. My sister's food was spicy and I definitely could taste the difference in the level of spiciness. Will we return: I do not think I would eat there but would definitely place an order for take-out if I was in the mood for the type of cuisine but will certainly check out other Indian places locally so I could compare. When we were there many people were coming in to pick up their take-out orders or picking up. The pricing was inexpensive. Just a quick note, the buffet was not open when we went which was Saturday at 7:15 PM."
