"When I entered the restaurant, I checked the online order section but couldn't find my order. The place was packed, and everyone looked unhappy as they waited for their food. Eventually, I managed to get the attention of one of the staff members. I asked him to check on my order since it was already 20 minutes past the promised time. Each time he returned, he said they couldn't find it.
After several back-and-forth exchanges and waiting for at least 45 minutes, he finally located my order. He informed me that they had printed it but hadn’t placed it at the front. When I asked if it would be ready in 10 minutes since I had already been waiting for almost an hour, his response was dismissive: “As you can see, we’re really busy, so I don’t think so.” It felt like my time as a customer wasn’t valued at all, as I stood there waiting long past the expected pick-up time.
Frustrated, I asked for a refund, but even then, there was no urgency. I had to ask him to ensure I would receive the refund since they couldn’t process it on the spot. To my disbelief, he simply told me to come back when it wasn’t so busy and pointed out their manager, saying, “It’s the guy with the dreadlocks” at the back of the counter.
I’m extremely dissatisfied with this experience. To make matters worse, I still haven’t received my refund or a call confirming it. I left feeling angry because I didn’t want to risk losing my job over a $40 lunch. What a service experience!"
