"Friday May10th 2024 we were greeted by the host who asked if we had a reservation at 5PM. Now mind you we have been to this establishment many times in the last few years and have never had a need for a reservation. He went on to explain this is “Mother’s Day weekend” like that’s a thing now the Friday before Mother’s Day? Anyway, now that we realized we had been transported to a New York City, five star restaurant, we explained that no, we did not have a reservation but we could probably manage to eat in two hours. He then said “well, if you can be done by 7pm we will see what we can do”. The waitress decided to take our drink order 15 min after we were seated, one of the two drinks we ordered was not what was ordered. We then ordered our dinners, two of the five dinners were not what was ordered. We managed to scarf the food down to be out in time for the 21st birthday party that came in as we left. So, it seems this had nothing to do with Mother’s Day but more to do with a drinking party about to begin. PROBABLY WONT RETURN"
