"We went to the store with a few starving student cards (which have a coupon for a free specific smoothie, which is apparently a mix of odds and ends of other smoothies). We ordered 3 for free, and purchased a few additional ones out of pocket. After the transaction was complete, they informed us that they are out of the components for the odds and ends smoothie. They had already started the base for each smoothie. They informed us that they would reverse the card charge, and just initialed the coupon for free smoothies so we could use it in the future.I think that in this situation it would have been a lot better to offer some other resolution. We were paying customers, who had already purchased additional smoothies. Maybe offer to upgrade the odd 's and ends smoothie to something, even if it 's an upcharge. Or even check if you can make a smoothie prior to a transaction.I personally don 't like any menu items at Roxberry, but my family does. It just seems that every time that we go, there is some Minor inconvenience that can be missing half the ingredients to the menu, to poorly mixed smoothies that have whole chunks of fruit barely chopped."
