"I called the store, and the worker informed me that the order had been picked up and suggested there might have been a mix-up with DoorDash, telling me to check with the recipient since the flowers should be there. After hanging up, I tried to contact the recipient, but then my DoorDash order was suddenly canceled at 1:57 PM (with the flower department closing at 2 PM). I had no way to reach anyone on DoorDash, and when I called back, the manager said to contact him if there were any issues, and he would help resolve them.
I called back just two minutes later, yet I was told that the floral department was closed and everyone had already left. So, while it was claimed that the flowers were made and delivered by someone, they actually weren’t, and my order got canceled without any communication. I’m extremely disappointed with both Hy-Vee Floral and DoorDash. Instead of resolving the problem, they just shrugged it off and left me in the dark."
