"We 've lived in MV since 2006. We have tried to love this place at least 6-7 times, and just can 't. A few group dining experiences in the past have been fantastic, and the food excellent. This time, not so much. Service was excellent, but there was only one other table seated when we arrived around 5:15 on a friday. Most of the food was over cooked, with the exception being some of the pasta which was undercooked. Kids had plain pasta and the Diavlo. Diavlo had decent spice and onions were part of the dish but seemed very excessive. The sausage was brat-sized, was very overcooked and dry. Some of the pasta was lumped together and undercooked. It was just not great and felt overpriced as a $24 dish. I had the Pescatora, most of the seafood was overcooked and definitely had a previously frozen awhile ago flare to it. The mussels were terrible and added an off flavor to the dish, lobster and shrimp tough and rubbery. Honestly, the clams were and little scallops were decent but only about 50% of them were not overcooked. This was a $42 dish! My wife had the Risotto Di Amore which is a seafood Risotto. It had decent heavy butter flavor but was basically a soup with risotto in it, not a risotto-like as she expected. Most disappointing again was the seafood was all overcooked and rubber. This was a $44 dish! Salads and bread were good, two glasses of Seven Falls Cabernet was $24, and good. All in all, a huge letdown and $165 bill before tip. Again, service was attentive and the place was filling up by the time we left. It could definitely use an update, its fairly worn, and dirty in the corners and dated. I 'm not sure why, but the windows/glass in the place have always bothered me. We 've tried over the years to like this place and after all the tries, it 's just not worth it. For the money, there are way better choices in Issaquah, Tukwila and Renton."
