"We took my in-laws out to dinner and they told us it was the best meal that they had ever eaten. The service was great, all of the staff were attentive and efficient. The food was delicious and I am looking forward to bringing my mother there to eat in the near future. We appreciate the fact that the restaurant has multiple rooms and that we can talk to each other without having to talk loudly. We also love the extra touches, such as the sorbet before the main course and the warm hand towels at the end of the meal."

"I came here for the first time today for lunch. I got my selections from the All Day Fix Menu that only cost $19.99. For that price you get a first course, a second course and a dessert. Everything was great and the service I received was top notched. My waiter was so nice, friendly and attentive. The overall appearance of the restaurant was clean and they made sure everyone is safely distanced at each table. I will definitely go back!"

"I've always loved Houlihan's in the past, and our recent visit did not disappoint. The restaurant was clean, and the staff was excellent. The prices are reasonable compared to many local options. I ordered the BBQ burger, while my son chose the chicken tenders. Our food arrived quickly and was cooked to perfection. I requested my burger to be cooked medium, and it was spot on. If you enjoy BBQ-style burgers, this place is a winner. The bacon was crispy and not overdone. My son enjoyed his chicken; the tenders were tender and not overcooked. We also indulged in desserts—a brownie and vanilla bean cheesecake. I would recommend both!"

"Haven’t been here in a couple years. And was unfortunately left wanting when I returned. The entrees just felt like they were missing something. Not enough salt, and overcooked steak were disappointing. The lighting in the restaurant was just a bit too dim. Almost movie theater dim. The restaurant was spacious, and had nice art. "I stopped in for a lunch break with a friend and enjoyed some appetizers along with a glass of wine. We tried three appetizers: stuffed mushrooms, bruschetta, and chicken wings. The stuffed mushrooms were my favorite; they were absolutely delicious! The bruschetta was served on mini baguettes, making it tasty as well. The chicken wings were straightforward, but the blue cheese dipping sauce was delightful. Overall, the portion sizes were generous and offered great value for the money."

"First bad review I am ever writing. Unfortunately, the food was awful. I ordered a prime rib....recd a PuB Steak. Not wanting to be a nuisance on Xmas..I accepted pleasantly. It was TOUGH. Very over cooked. Every one at my table has issues ....ribs were dry. Even child's pizza under cooked. Ordered fried donuts for desert, left on table ....middle a bit raw. I do realize it was christmas....which makes the situation worse. Expected a nice sit down with family....yet we all.left hungry and disappointed. Top dollar...to be so unsatisfied."

"I began my meal with a delicious side salad. My wife opted for the fish tacos, while I chose the Mahi Mahi special. The portions were generous, but nothing extraordinary. The service was excellent. Two drawbacks were a crying baby in the restaurant and fruit flies bothering us during our dinner. "I had the hot roast beef sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy, my wife had the Ruben with fries, my grandson had pancakes with bacon, my mashed potatoes Were disgusting, maybe room temperature and gummy and grainy like they were over microwaved, the canned gravy was ok, roast beef didn’t have much flavor, wife’s Ruben Luke warm and a good bit of the corned beef was hard and dry, the bacon was greasy microwaveable bacon , portion size was rather small for the price and a kids meal of pancakes was $8.00,. Nearly $50 for less than mediocre food, was our first time there and more than likely our last. EDIT to response: and I see as per your usual, blame the customer when you get a negative review, you never did respond to the e mail, how about you serve good food at a fair price . Not everybody complains to the server, sometimes there is no point, if the food is that bad to start then there is nothing better to fix it with"

"We decided to take advantage of the Thursday 29-cent wing special and chose to sit in the bar area. It was our first visit to this restaurant, and we were really impressed by the beautiful wooden decor and friendly staff. Right after we were seated, we were treated to freshly baked bread served with olive oil and herbs. I ordered the bone-in teriyaki wings for 50 cents each, while my roommate opted for the nachos, which featured thick and crispy chips. To complement our meal, we enjoyed $5 drinks, including a peach bellini and a strawberry margarita. Overall, it was a delicious and delightful dining experience."

"We made a reservation for Mother's Day, but after being seated, we waited over 30 minutes without even being offered water. Meanwhile, other parties who were seated after us were promptly served drinks and appetizers. When we flagged down a passing server to inquire about our assigned server, she said she would check on it, but we never heard back. This made us feel extremely unwelcome, and after an hour of waiting without any service, we decided to leave. Strangely, no one stopped us or inquired about our departure. We were the only Asian family in the restaurant, surrounded by white Americans, and while we don’t want to assume this was due to racism, it’s hard not to consider it. This was truly the worst restaurant experience we’ve ever had."

"A cozy family style restaurant with great service and the best pie I've had in a long time! Good prices made it a great deal on a rainy winter night in Wisconsin Dells when I needed a home style meal while attending a conference. A friend suggested this restaurant to me. Her family had been going there for years and she was certain if like it because it focuses on family style meals. I was not disappointed. I ordered a rib dinner and pie for dessert. I right the ribs would be grilled because of the picture in the menu. They appeared to be oven baked or boiled but they were tasty. I prefer grilled ribs and would not prefer that meal again. Still, the meal was plentiful. It was a good deal and a lot more than I could eat in one setting. If falling off the bone is your thing, you'll love these ribs. Be sure to ask for extra sauce on the side. The meal came with salad, green beans, corn, and bread. NOW, the pie! OMG! That pie! I ordered the banana cream pie and thought I'd died and gone to heaven! The crust was light and flaky. The filling was sweet and creamy. It was pure Nirvana! I wanted to just sit there and eat THAT all night long! AMAZING! I even took a slice back to the hotel with me for the next day. It was simply dreamy! If I'm ever in the area again, I'll give you this restaurant for pie and coffee. Even better than the pie, the service!!! My waitress was simply fantastic! She was attentive and pleasant. She knew how to ask questions and seemed to be enjoying her job. Everyone working there was smiling and moving about purposefully. Nobody was acting as if they didn't want to be at work or as if the customers were inconveniencing them. They all served to work well as a team to make the dining experience pleasant for their customers. I really appreciated that because it's so rare these days. Overall, there only real challenge was the construction on the road outside the restaurant but that's not their fault. I'm pretty sure it's temporary. Your GPS will take you right to that construction. But there are back roads that lead you around to a parking lot. Ask any of the locals and they'll help you get to the parking lot. Or just be curious enough to find it. It's well worth the effort and you won't be sorry. I recommend you order the pie. No matter what your meal, stay for the pie."

"The service was absolutely awful. We got there early but we did not see anyone for a while. We were in the bar area which we requested so some of us could watch the game but it was freezing most of the time until the heat briefly came on. This happened the entire time. We asked why it was so cold but the few people we asked had no idea. We got there after 4:30pm for a 5:15pm reservation and we did not leave until almost 9pm. It was unreal. The server was also the bartender so we only saw him a few minutes at a time. A few drinks would come but not the rest until later but some never came until we asked again. It wasn’t until after 6pm which was way late when someone else came to take our orders. The time between appetizers and dinner was not good. I ordered an add on salad that never came but was on the bill but we just wanted to get out of there so we let it go. The few people that ordered the Turkey special were unhappy because there was too much skin on the Turkey and it was hard to eat through. The dessert orders were wrong. We also paid for an extra brownie sundae we did not order. And the topper was the server telling us that our $100 bill was counterfeit and wouldn’t go through the machine so we needed to give her a different one. Oh dear God. Cannot make this up."

"We've enjoyed Houlihan's many times, but this night was a bit underwhelming. We were seated immediately and our waiter was pleasant enough, but was clearly having a bad night. We waited dryly through most of our meal before our second drinks arrived and had another long wait after dinner, which ended our desire for dessert. I then received an incorrect check with an extra drink added to it, and had to wait again for that to be corrected. But the food was good, although the portions a bit small. We'll probably return at some point and give them the benefit of a rare bad night."
