"We had the pleasure of dining at Walnut Hills last night. The setting (an old historic house) and the history of the restaurant was so interesting. The service was friendly and efficient. We had the gumbo and a house salad as well as the famous friedchicken (there's a reason it's famous! Yum) and sides. Everything was delicious! The Old fashion cocktail was very unique andoutstanding. Took home a slice of Italian Cream cake and we savored every bite."

"My friend and I came down to see what saint Josephine was about. It is a very friendly family type of environment, and the kitchen is open which is really nice to see the cooks work their magic. Our waitress was really nice. I got the chicken fried steak with gravy and a side of broccoli and it was delicious. This chicken fried steak was very tender gravy was not too thick. It could have used just a tad bit more thought but overall it was very good and the broccoli was cooked perfectly and it also had a hint of lemon which was nice. My friend had the sausage and cheese queso which was a little interesting when we got it at the table. It had slices of sausage and sauteed onions on the top of chips and then the little side of queso. It was not too bad. The spinach artichoke dip was very good as well could have been cooked a little bit longer for the cheese to melt all the way but other than that it was pretty good. We would definitely come back and visit."
