"I go here all the time as a dominican myself the only criticism is please put less saltly flavor in the sancocho, i know we are to combine it with white rice but still. Food is good, beans are soft and delicious, and mangu is just right in texture and if you call they have the order for you to pick up when they say. Dining in they are good, attentive to come by, but sometimes it can be hard to get your servers attention when its not busy because they are all at the front desk taking walk-ins."

"The service was mediocre. Waitress was extremely slow, ordering entree took much longer than expected. Order alcohol drinks, which sat at the bar for a longer period of time than usual. Celebrated 2 birthday guests at our table. All in our party have dinned at Havana 1957 Pembroke pines numerous times before, unfortunately this experience was not the best. Food was ok, seemed like the food sat in the kitchen window as when the food arrived at our table, food was warm/ almost cold. It was very warm inside of the restaurant, not as comfortable as in our previous experience. The photos that the photographer took of our table was horrible and rushed . Majority of the pictures came out horrible with photo spots on a lot of the prints."

"I've ordered from this restaurant twice, and both times my order was incorrect. There's always something off with what I receive. For instance, I ordered tres golpes, but it didn't come with fried cheese. I requested cheese empanadas and received chicken instead. I also ordered a combo that included baked chicken, moro, and beans, but the beans were missing. The moro was very dry, almost as if it wasn't fresh, and the mangu was overly oily."

"I used to recommend this place to everyone but just stopped this past Saturday after spending close to 600 out with the family first thing is the lemons I had no idea they charge you for them 2nd their chilaquiles are chips with green or red sauce forthat I would just order nachos that is not real chilaquiles 3rd they offer no more salsa on the tables you have to have itfreshly made at a cost they used to offer house made salsas but now they charge you for it now this little things might not seemtoo bad but if I'm going to drop close to 600 there is certain things I expect and paying for lemons and salsa is not one ofthem to top it off the cooks burned something which cause alot of smoke and we had to avacuate the restaurant due to the firealarm going off and waiting for the fire department to clear things before going back in by the time we did our food got coldand out drinks got hot you would have thought oh man desserts on the house or 20% Off the bill or something NOPE not even thelemons lol now I will say there food is not bad for the money you will spend i would go to La Flamo De Oro less than 10 mntsaway the food taste the same if not a bit better but you'll get better service more respect the management is more level headedand down to earth yes it might not be as big or decorated as such but your overall experience will be so much more enjoyable itwas a so so last meal cause I will never go back."

"**Beware of Scams!** I'm not sure if this problem is limited to UberEATS, but they impose a 100% fee if you want to choose a specific soda flavor. The menu lists all sodas at $2.50, but if you want anything other than Sprite, there's an additional $2.50 charge for the "luxury." This means you're paying $5 for a single can! I had to spend almost 40 minutes arguing with Uber to get a refund. I suggest steering clear of this place until they stop exploiting customers."

"There were three or four servers present, yet none of them checked in on us to see how everything was or if we needed anything. To the staff: how much more time do you need to spend chatting with each other? With just two customers at the table, it shouldn't be difficult to follow up occasionally. We had to ask for basic items like silverware, which should be a given. It was frustrating that the servers only approached us when we stood up to make our requests, like asking for silverware or plates that were forgotten. Even when we finished our meal, they seemed more focused on bringing the check than on ensuring we had everything we needed. What if we wanted dessert or coffee? An opportunity for upselling was missed. This establishment could greatly benefit from more training in hospitality and customer service. No matter how good the food is, without attentive service, customers are unlikely to return. Service is crucial to repeat business, and while the food is fantastic, it's essential to also improve the service. I visited the Fullerton location and hope to see improvements in the future!"

"This is an outstanding restaurant! It was our first visit, as we're from Texas, and we were thoroughly impressed. We sampled a delicious shrimp cocktail, a molcajete, and two kid-friendly dishes, all of which were flavorful and well-prepared, especially for a restaurant in another state. A big shout-out to the host and our waitress for providing fantastic service throughout our meal. We also loved the melted cheese with chorizo and the handmade corn tortillas. I left this place feeling absolutely delighted! My expectations were exceeded, and I would definitely return! As for parking, the location is great, but finding a spot was quite challenging."

"Fantastic music, delicious food, and quick service! We sat on the patio to soak in the beautiful evening, and it was just perfect. My family and I are regulars here and we are usually very content with the food and service, however on the morning of June 3rd we left the establishment very sad, confused and disappointed. My husband and I were seriously over charged for breakfast. We were each charged $22 for boiled green plantains with chuleta. So our breakfast included 2 breakfast plates of green boiled bananas with meat 2 passion fruit juices and 1 to go small dessert $62. It made us sad to be overcharged because we have been supporting this business since day 1 especially during the covid lockdown . I understand that inflation has had a negative effect on businesses and everyone in general but No one should have to pay $22 for boiled green bananas. My suggestion is keep the prices at a reasonable range."
