As a kid my abuela and titi would make all the typical Rican dishes. The had their own way of making traditional dishes like Mofongo, alcapurrias, and delicious chuletas. I remember vaguely coming here way back with my cousins, getting alcapurrias to go. I then saw on Tiktok and my memories came back. The wait was long, but it was nice chatting with Luis the owner, who treats all of his patrons like family. This visit I got: Sancocho. Absolutely delicious!! The rich broth and tasty pieces of oxtail to say the least. Mofongo their specialty.. reminded me of my family's recipe but better) don't tell them lol. Drink ok yall yall got to try this , the name is funny but it's called: Morir Sonanado. to die while dreaming) Orange juice, milk, cinnamon sugar and vanilla. Very refreshing and a great choice to wash down your meal. Get a lot of alcapurrias to go!! I'm definitely coming back."
