"After being seated i was told by a young man my small service dog and I were not welcomed. I insisted that he was a service animal hes allowed everywhere. I explained i had his documents with me. The staff politely told me that it was not their call. Their boss Lucia Lopez(the owner), had seen me over the cameras and instructed them to have me removed. I told them I would not leave. I got loud enough so the tables around me could here and told them that I get seizures. Not serving me because I have a dog, is the same as asking me to leave because I had no leg. I called the local police sat back at the table with my 18 yr old daughter, (we were visiting for her graduation trip) who was almost in tears at this point. A few moments later, a slightly older young man approached our table. He politely tried to explain that it was not their call to please not be upset with them asked if we would still like to be served. After arguing briefly in my head, I agreed. Both young men were very polite while refusing to serve me ?. I reminded him of the officers in route (I planned on going all the way to court). I called the local office back said we had worked it out. The young man took our order. He came back said Lucia was on the way to speak to me. I told him I didn 't wish to see her. Before our food came out, a short heavy set older woman with bleached a rude demeanor approached our table. She began insulting me by saying I was out of place yelling at her boys and thinking I could do whatever I pleased. While I was sitting down with her standing over me waving a finger in the air at me. I repeatedly told her to change her tone, that I was not her child, and to speak to me with respect. I stayed seated calm against all urges. She insisted I WAS RUDE to her staff, that they were simply following orders. Then I asked her, (so others could also hear) oh, so you make it customary have your employees break the law? As a business owner you know what you told those young men to do was illegal, on top of embarrassing for them! I then told her I had nothing more to discuss with her to please leave me be. With a huff she left out the side door. The older of the 2 men came over once she was gone and apologized again. I felt so bad for the circumstances under which these two very respectful young had to working, and I can imagine all they put up with. I apologized again told them that I was upset with the establishment that at no point was I ever upset with them. I thanked them for their hospitality gave the young men a $100 tip to split. The coffee Tres Leche was great. The food was not good. I didn 't touch much of it. The rice and beans were not from that day they felt reheated several times. All crunchy like the bottom of the pot was tried to soften up. The meat was over cooked. Decor was nice. I don 't recommend this place. Especially to those with disabilities."

"Naturally, I ordered tacos, specifically the pescatarian version. While the menu was extensive and inclusive, I found it a bit overwhelming. I prefer a simpler menu that clearly outlines appetizers and entrees in an easy-to-read format. Nevertheless, this didn't detract too much from my dining experience since I already knew what I wanted. Upon sitting down, we were automatically served chips, and I requested some guacamole on the side. Unfortunately, the guacamole came topped with cheese. I appreciate the creativity, but in today's world, I'd prefer the option to request dairy or toppings since many people have dietary restrictions. I believe there's a lot of potential to cater to these needs by offering customizable dishes that allow diners to choose according to their preferences. Now, onto the entrees— I ordered the birria shrimp tacos. They took a while to arrive, but when they did, they were hot, steamy, and beautifully colorful. However, they were unfortunately lacking in seasoning, particularly salt. I appreciated the freshness of the ingredients and the presentation, but what good is food without seasoning? Is it still considered good? I want my senses to be awakened! I want to not just taste the food, but truly indulge in the experience. Everything else was wonderful— our waitress was attentive and the atmosphere felt cozy. I just really needed that seasoning!"

"We went here a couple years ago before it changed it and it was wonderful. we were excited to bring some of our friends there so we made a reservation for yesterday, cinco de mayo. my sister and brother-in-law recently had a baby and they got a baby sitter to come out for the evening for one of their first nights out and drive the 30+ minutes to come meet us. we arrive early for our 730 reservation and the restaurant was absolutely packed, of course cause it's cinco, so glad i made a reservation, right?! we get rudely approached by a man who asked me what i was doing. i let him know we had a reservation and he cut me off and said, nope you don't. i said excuse me? he said, there's no reservations tonight. i let him know i made one and got a confirmation text and email. he said, doesn't matter, no reservations tonight. he then dismissed us, not caring one bit. we gathered around the bar area to try to figure out what to do next, since it would be impossible to get into anywhere now with 6 people on cinco de mayo. my brother in law was so upset, as he left his child for this. he asked someone for a manager and they guy said, i don't know who the manager is. ya right. the j from earlier then came over and said you guys can't stay here. i told him we're trying to figure out where to go because they didn't have the decency to alert their customers that reservations had been cancelled. he walked away from us AGAIN. worst experience i've ever had with someone at a restaurant. i understand if you don't want to take reservations for a specific day or if there was a mistake on the website that allowed it, but be kind and apologetic. instead we got a nasty, greasy, entitled douche telling me we couldn't stay there after THEY messed up. go to taqueria or gringos for better service, great food and good people, not to these scumbags."
