"Pizza Guys is an excellent spot to order pizza. I placed my order through Grubhub, and it took about 45 minutes for delivery, which is perfectly acceptable to me since I usually wait around 20 minutes for a Hot & Ready pizza. It seems like they make it fresh as you order, which I appreciate. I’ve tried several pizza places in Hayward, including Little Caesars, The Pizza Place, Pizza Hut, NY Pizza, and Papa John’s, but Pizza Guys truly exceeded my expectations for pizza in Northern California. I used to think that Southern California, especially San Diego, offered the best pizza on the West Coast, even from the franchises I mentioned. In SoCal, I found those chains to serve better pizza than what is available here. However, discovering Pizza Guys has shown me that you really have to explore different options until you find the spot that satisfies you, and for me, that place is Pizza Guys! I love their Hawaiian pizza, which is the only one I've tried so far, but I’m definitely planning to order again and try their other varieties. The dough is well-prepared; it doesn’t toughen up easily as it cools and has a delightful crisp and chewy texture. The toppings are plentiful and seem very fresh. The sauce is just right—not too thick, which I particularly dislike about many pizzas that tend to skimp on toppings. What I received from Pizza Guys was fantastic! The only downside to pizzas in Northern California, including Pizza Guys, is the price. My medium Hawaiian pizza cost $19.99. In Southern California, I could get similar pizzas for around $7 from Little Caesars and $11 from Papa John’s. I really think they need to consider lowering their prices a bit."

"We ordered pizza online not knowing they didn’t deliver to Sebastopol. The website someone how entered the wrong address. We called to report and the owner got on the phone because we asked for a refund. We spent $80. We do not make a lot of money and so now we do not get to eat dinner tonight. It was a special occasion to order. He told us that he ran out of the money he has set aside for refunds. Saying he’s a small business and that he can’t make money giving refunds. He lied saying he’d drive over to the wrong address and if the random people hadn’t eaten our food that he’d refund us. He refused to do this and give us photo evidence that he actually went there to check. He told us he couldn’t refund without checking first and it was because he lost all the profit from making the the food. We asked how getting the food back from whoever got it would save him any money since he can’t resell the food. He was telling us he’d resell food that had been sitting out or already entered an apartment. When we questioned him because this would be a health code violation he started getting angry saying he didn’t have to answer any of our questions. And said different restaurants have different policies on reselling food that has gone out. We were shocked and disgusted. I can’t believe I’ve been coming here for years not knowing I’ve been eating pizza other customers have already put their hands on."
