"We recently dined at Figs for the third time and once again, we were blown away. The food was incredibly fresh and every dish was bursting with flavor. Our waiter, Gil, was attentive and knowledgeable, making our dining experience even more enjoyable. One of my guests ordered the special fish that Gil described, and just listening to him talk about it made my mouth water. Overall, Figs is a great restaurant with exceptional service. If you haven't been yet, I highly recommend giving it a try."

"I was in town with friends for the Wineglass marathon and we were searching for a pasta dinner the night before the race. The reviews are mostly good with a a couple bad ones sprinkled in that we were concerned about but since this is the only Italian restaurant within at least 30 minutes, we took the gamble. The food was disappointing to say the least. The homemade pasta was angel hair from a box and the chicken parm was so thick/tough (not pounded out at all) that it was inedible. The prices were also extremely high given the quality of food (we were actually up charged for said homemade pasta even though we were told it came with the entrees). I feel bad writing this but it was such a disappointing meal when we needed something to fuel us for the next day. Take out pizza would have been a better option."

"Terrible experience from the moment my mother and I sat at the table! It took the waiter a min of 10-15 minutes before he came over to the table. Once he came to the table, he started to tell us about the specials but then asked about drinks and walked off for another 5-10 minutes. When waiter came back, he went over the specials, we ordered and he asked us to choose a soup or salad with our entrees. Refills on drinks were needed but waiter may have only came to check on us maybe twice and that's after we had to call him. Our salads were dry and needed more dressing but he took so long to come over that my mother didn't want her salad anymore. Meals came out, I wanted some extra pasta sauce but waiter took so long to come over my pasta was getting cold. Bill came, we paid the bill but haven't signed receipt or tipped yet. Also looking at the bill, the waiter charged us for full salads after he misrepresented salads as a part of the price of an entree. So we were not happy about that either. The waiter came to our table then 3 times within 10-15minutes to collect the receipt because the bill was already paid!!!! If that doesn't tell your customers you are ready for them to leave. We still didn't sign off the receipt and leave tip because I was still eating but the 3rd time the waiter came he didn't say anything and hurried off with the unsigned receipt. I just knew he would bring the receipt back after he saw it wasnt signed and no tip noted. My mother at this point made up her mind that we were not coming back. Let me also point out that we watched our waiter go to another table several times and checked on them but not us as if he was avoiding us. To make the matters even WORSE: THERE WAS A TIP ADDED TO BILL BY THE WAITER!!!! HE STOLE FROM US!!!! $16.88 to be exact) We had to call the restaurant and have them credit the tip back on our card. The owner/manager did refund the tip. The restaurant informed us waiter name was JOE and because of Joe, we won't be back."

"I had made a reservation for three for 5:30 p.m. to ensure we had plenty of time to get to our 7:30 p.m. show five minutes away. Our table was not ready when we got there and still wasn't ready 45 minutes later. Luckily, a table for two opened up and the very nice hostess sat us there by turning the table longwise so we all could fit around it. We were supposed to be there for drinks only until our table opened up but when a table opened up they gave it to another party that had been waiting longer than us. Again, luckily another table for two opened and she pushed that one together with ours (unfortunately, inconveniencing the table next to us who had to have their tables moved down), but at least we could order dinner. I don't think our table ever opened up while we were there! The food itself was delicious. We had mozzarella sticks that were typical, but good. My daughter had the fish and chips and they looked great. My cousin had the herb roasted chicken that came with a huge mound of mashed potatoes and sauteed spinach. She gave me the dark meat and it was so good! I just ordered boneless chicken wings with BBQ sauce. I loved it! They didn't like their frozen drinks that weren't blended well, but the second round they liked, a beer and sparkling wine. I had two awesome cosmopolitans. Overall, a good experience but if I make a reservation, I expect to be seated on time. Maybe NYC restaurants don't operate like that and I'm spoiled by DC restaurants, but the hostess did a great job to make sure we got in."

"I have to say, without a doubt, this is the best pizza in the tri-state area. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Vilson, and I was truly impressed by the professionalism of him and his staff. The food definitely speaks for itself! Vilson also owns Scooters Bar and Grill, and I've only heard wonderful things about it. You've gained a lifelong customer. Sincerely, Travis Goodbou."

"Horrible experience the last two times we have been in this restaurant. Rude and nasty person behind the counter changes a 3.5% service charge for using a credit card, does not put any sauce on a meatball sub but charges for extra sauce and charges if you get more than one drink refill. In addition, the pizza has gone downhill and is just a greasy mess that will hurt your stomach. Stay far, far away from this place and give any other italian place, your hard earned money. The staff rudeness is beyond anything that I have ever experienced, and I will never give this establishment another dime! In addition, this place had NO heat for the entire winter and tried to heat the dining with portable heaters and dangerous extension cords throughout the diner area. Definitlely illegal and a health code violation! I honestly can't state how poor and rude the service is and I beg everyone to try a different italian/pizza place. Worst experience that I have ever had at a restaurant. They do not deserve your business! Run to another upstanding business!"

"I have to say, if you're used to traditional Italian pizza, this place may surprise you. The crust is thick and airy, more like focaccia bread than your usual thin-crust pizza. However, if you're looking for a taste of American-style pizza, this is the spot for you. The portions are generous, the toppings are plentiful, and the service is quick. Personally, I loved the seafood pizza. Everything tastes fresh and satisfying. This is definitely a top choice for pizza on Long Island. I can't wait to come back on my next trip to the States!"

"they met with friends for dinner on Saturday night. the restaurant was very crowded, but the reservation was ready when we went into the door. cocktails were ordered by everyone and they were very good. the special of the evening was parmesan risotto with braided short ribs and my friend said it was delicious. my man had the laughs and said it was the best laugh he ever had. I myself and the other friend with whom we ordered the rústico ribeye. while tasty, both were better made than we had ordered, but very large portions. dessert came and each of us ordered another dessert. I would recommend the cannoli and cocosnus cake with cocosgelat. we will definitely come back!"

"Now I know good pizza and fries when I see it. Dominic?s 1 happens to be the best out of all the locations. You know what they say, The best Dominic?s is the first Dominic?s! The pizza is fresh and the fries are hot and crispy, but not too crispy, just how I like ?em! You know what they say, You can make ?em crispier but you can?t make em softer. I like how they are never undercooked but also not overcooked. The Pizza Bread that they also give with garlic rolls is delicious as well. You know what they say, garlic rolls can make or break a restaurant experience! All in all, they really have some of the best pizza in Boca and I would not hesitate to go back."

"My daughter and I decided to try try LaCucina's for lunch, after checking out the menu on-line. What a mistake. The calamari was overcooked and had almost no marinara sauce, but at least it was edible. The main courses were a different story. I ordered the stuffed chicken and my daughter ordered the Atlantic salmon. While we were waiting for our main courses, which took a while, the server brought us a small loaf of bread, which we did not eat. When the mains finally arrived, the chicken was tough and spongy, and the accompanying "house made" risotto was tasteless mush. My daughter's salmon was overcooked, so very dry. We did not eat our food. When the server came to check we told her that it was inedible, and declined to order anything else since we had both lost our appetites. After a few minutes the server returned and told us that she agreed, she had actually tasted some of the food and it was not up to their usual standards. She had contacted the owner/manager by phone and told her what had happened. The response was that we would not be charged for the main courses, but we would have to pay for the calamari and we were charged $3 for the bread that we didn't even order and did not eat!! We could not believe it. We will never go back to LaCucina and have made a point to tell everyone we know to avoid the place."

"Thank you, Toskana, for exceeding our expectations once again! My family and I thoroughly enjoyed your delicious pizza tonight. I managed to snap a photo just in time! Your pizzas are always made with the freshest ingredients, and you consistently make us feel like family. I also absolutely love your chicken soup; it's like the one my mom used to make when I was a kid—only better, shh! Haha! Your Caesar salad and mozzarella sticks are also fantastic. And let's not forget the world's best chicken parm, which we will definitely be ordering next time!"

"We have almost always had a good experience at Carmine's Coal Fire Pizza. However, our mother's day experience on Sunday for brunch was not one of the them. We were seated promptly, received two glasses of water ? and a small plate of mediocre bread with dipping sauce, and no one came near our table for about 15 minutes. We saw many hostesses but almost no wait staff. My son went to the hostess stand and told them that if someone did not come to our table in three minutes, we were leaving. If restaurants are busy, we never mind waiting, but we wanted to have a drink/coffee at the very least. After our complaint, they became overly solicitous. Our waitress was fine, but blamed the delay on another person. Not sure if that was valid or not. She removed the charge on our bill for our shared appetizer which was nice. The food was OK but somewhat overpriced for what we ate. We were quite disappointed as we have eaten there for dinner with good experiences many times and order takeout pizza there frequently. We will go back, but not for a holiday meal. The alcoholic drinks mimosas, **** marys, etc. were very pricey, so we settled for coffee. In my 80 years, I have been to much nicer brunches. Carmines did not seem to be prepared to handle this event."

"I had an amazing experience at this restaurant! From the moment I arrived, I was warmly greeted, and the service was top-notch. I dined at 2 PM on a weekday, so it was nice and quiet, which made for a relaxing atmosphere. We were celebrating a birthday, and our server was fantastic—he truly excelled in every aspect. The ordering process was easy, and my meals were delivered accurately. The lunch portions were generous and incredibly delicious! The presentation was beautiful, and the garlic butter bread was a delightful treat. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I want to thank them for a wonderful birthday lunch!"

"Truly a delightful lunch yesterday with friends at this respected Italian cuisine establishment. My online research led me to select this place and we were all extremely pleased with the service and the food. My pan seared chicken with artichokes, tomatoes and pasta was superb. I highly recommend Brother's for lunch or dinner... I know I'll be back !"

"I had the penne prosciutto arugula which was taste and creamy with the goat cheese. The arugula was raw but when mixed into the dish it became slightly wilted and delicious with the other textures. Grilling your own bread with different spreads to choose from was dun and didn’t take but a few minutes. I would suggest that the bread come out minutes before the entrees. My husband had the carbonara which came out lukewarm with a raw yolk on top. Being a chef himself he did not think the egg would cook enough in lukewarm pasta so removed the yolk. I would suggest the yolk be mixed into a hotter noodle and then served"

"Ambitous, pretentious and pricey. The service was outstanding, the quality of the ingredients was very good, but there is a clear lack of chefs/cooks. When you order Alaskan King crab at $100 you expect it not to be rubber, same goes for Paella with the lobster tail it should not be so overcooked that you can stick a fork in it and shake it. The kitchen needs serious training in cooking seafood or just start over. The sauces were over sweetened or used ingredients that don't work (i.e. sherry or sweet masala wine in a clam broth? ridiculous). The brusell sprouts were not crispy and had too much maple syrup on it. The only things that were good out of our $425 plus dinner for three was the Octopus (not charred enough but tender and good) and the Yellowfin Tuna. This restaurant has potential they just need to start over with different staff and menu. They have no business making paella that's for sure."
