"The man at the front desk checking out and taking orders should be removed from talking to customers. He has zero skill to be dealing with guests.. The entire process was confusing, as he was taking orders the entire time he was taking mine (I had walked in). He sat a bag down in front of me, i asked if it was mine, he nodded. …Got to my car and realized it wasn’t my order. Didn’t touch the food I took it back inside immediately and apologized. He then proceeds to YELL AT ME, WITH OTHER CUSTOMERS AROUND, Actually REAMING me, saying… “THAT NOT YOUR ORDER, NOT YOUR MOO GOO GAI PAN WHY YOU JUST COME UP HERE AND GRAB ANY BAG ?” I apologized again and HE KEEPS GOING ON AND ON. I’m thinking wow. Enough already. So I thru his take out bag down on the counter in front of him and walked out. He says “what the h— “.Sir I don’t need your food; this experience took away any appetite I may have had. I’ll not return. I’ll go downtown square. Mansfield. to the classy place where they treat customers with gratitude and kindness.Let’s assume it was my fault even so, i didn’t come in there guns hot his reaction was totally uncalled for. And now, after reading other reviews I’m not shocked. Can’t rate the food obviously didn’t get a chance to try it — hope he enjoyed his free egg roll and moo goo. That’s another thing… When i walked in he was eating rice behind the sushi counter. This is a “no” in my opinion. Eat in the back room, not in front of customers. Oh and i was to leave a tip for this “ happy house” experience”. Comical."

"I 've been a customer of Golden Kitchen since it opened. The lady who makes the soup and usually runs the cash register is very nice and good at what she does. The so called Chef on the other hand, he truly should be deported for the brass unwavering insults I 've been pretty too! The Chef absolutely positively won 't deviate from the menu or even do something that seems menial to me like cutting one dish off the menu I can 't remember which one into smaller pieces than usual. Even for more money, he told me no way. So that particular day I took my 80 order to a different restaurant because he refused to accommodate me for the one dish, no matter what. God Help you if you get a meal prepared by him that is absolutely inedible! He 'll insult you in his extremely poor broken English then charge you for the privilege of his insults! For instance, I myself think that I 'm fairly tolerant of spicy dishes, I usually enjoy them. I went to a Japanese restaurant once and the kitchen staff all came out and surrounded our table because I would spread the wasabi like cream cheese on my sushi, tastes good to me! Well I purchased General tso 's Chicken one night recently. This dish was so freaking hot that I couldn 't taste anything but the burning on my tongue! I called and the so called Chef happened to answer the phone. I explain that I had just left the store not 15 minutes prior and recited the dishes I ordered. I tried to explain to him how spicy hot the General Tso chicken dish was and could he suggest a way for me to douse the fire?, so to speak. I actually said, is there anything I can do at this point to take some of the spiciness down? Honest to Goodness this man started yelling at me! He says, it 's supposed to be spicy!!!!! I said, I know, I 've eaten this dish many many times from other restaurants and I 've never had a problem! But this dish is sooo spicy I can 't eat it! It 's just entirely too spicy, what can I do to help calm down the spiciness? He replies, VERY LOUDLY! YOU PAY YOU PAY IF YOU WANT ANOTHER DISH, YOU PAY!!!! ITS SUPPOSED TO BE SPICY, YOU PAY!! I said, I didn 't ask you to make it again you #0! I ASKED you to suggest a way to tame it down! At which point I hung up! Talk about never revisiting a restaurant? I wanted to take signs and paste them all over the window of the restaurant right there on Springfield road! It 's not the fact that the dish was too hot, it 's the unprofessional unexcusable way this man spoke to me, it was completely uncalled for! It can 't even be said that, oh, maybe he just got caught on a bad night? That can happen! But in this case it 's NOT THE FIRST TIME THIS MAN SCREAMED AT ME OVER SOMETHING THAT REALLY SHOULDN 'T REQUIRE THAT KIND OF RESPONSE! IF THERE WAS A PLACE TO REPORT THE WAY A MERCHANT TREATS THEIR CUSTOMERS AND IT COULD AFFECT HIS BUSINESS, I 'D DO IT!!! OH, WAIT! I JUST DID!!!! Dietary restrictions: As I stated above the chef is NOT at all accommodating! Service: Delivery Meal type: Dinner Price per person: 10–20 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1"

"I ordered two lunch specials, but unfortunately, everything was prepared incorrectly. I have a strict allergy to onions, which I clearly specify with each order, requesting no onions and no vegetables with the rice. To make matters worse, my order was missing two soups, and the delivery person called me to say he was in the lobby. I've ordered from this restaurant numerous times before, but this time, my food ended up being given to my neighbor in a wheelchair. I called the delivery person right after he had just told me he was in the lobby, and I had already informed the restaurant about being outside at the picnic tables—where I was the only customer. Despite this, my rude neighbor chose to eat my meal. The delivery person advised me to contact the restaurant, and they said they would replace the fried scallops but mentioned they were busy. When I opened the rest of the containers, my cousin and friends were shocked to find that my food had gone to someone else; the rice and General Tso's chicken were covered in scallions, and the shrimp and rice still had vegetables in it, despite my request for them to be plain. This isn't the first time I've encountered issues with their service; my previous dinner order was also missing soup and silverware. I had specifically asked for no sauce, no tartar, and no cookies, but I also requested plastic silverware since a friend was joining me for lunch. Sadly, I had to throw everything away. If my order is not replaced, I will need to dispute the charge with my Capital One credit card, especially since I was also billed for delivery and left an extra tip for the driver."
