"Fusion in this case just means “other asian food.” Honestly, not super impressed with this place considering the other reviews. The food is not bad, but it’s definitely nothing special and feels expensive for what it is. The specialty rolls were worse than the normal maki. Ambience leans very heavily into the lounge part of the name. It’s really dark. Might be your vibe. There must be better ramen/sushi/general asian food in chicago."

Once we finally got to our table, it took about 40 minutes before a waiter came to take our drink order—clearly, our table had been overlooked. "When this restaurant first opened, it had a lively atmosphere and delicious food. Unfortunately, my recent visit was a completely different experience, and it will be my last. The bar was in disarray, covered in trash that made it look like a garbage disposal had been turned into a sushi station with a beer tap lost amidst the mess. The service was extremely poor; I had to request my drink twice, never received a refill, and had to ask twice for the salad that was supposed to accompany our meals. I also had to ask for silverware twice. To top it off, I found a hair in my food and couldn't finish my meal. The waiter seemed indifferent and didn’t offer any kind of compensation. As a final blow, both my child and I spent the entire weekend feeling unwell after our $119 meal, leaving us quite wary of any future dining experiences."

"I've been here twice, once when it was a not-so-busy time and then on a Saturday night. Both times I had great and fast service. The sushi is terrific. I also ordered the trio appetizer which was fantastic and the price was great, too. For some reason their wasabi just hits different, like you're breathing fire through your nose but in a GOOD way. It's really good! The sushi bar is in view of everyone which makes the inside atmosphere great. I highly recommend you give it a try and I'll be going back soon as well."

"Okay first of all, anyone who gave this place less than 5 stars probably puts ketchup on their steak. With that said, this food is literally top notch. It's incredible. I get the chicken tikka masala everytime with the chicken Tikka Naan, delicious is not even enough to describe this food. And I normally always have to order it from grubhub, and it still comes hot and delicious. I would love to try it fresh someday. I have had a phone conversation with the owner when ordering, and he is extremely polite and just seems like an awesome person. He helped describe things to me, didn't rush me and made sure I knew all about the food I was ordering. Top notch guy and top notch food. Eat here. Oh, and if the price kinda throws you off just know that the portion sizes are massive. If you look at the photo I posted you will understand. This is more than enough for 2 people."

"So the reviews are right in case you’re wondering. Yelp has a 2.8, Google is a little more nice. Check your receipt. First and foremost we were almost charged an extra $45 for a meal that was ordered by another party at our table. Food was ok, you can def have better hibachi elsewhere. I had the Philadelphia type roll and it was cool. Chicken fried rice lacked seasoning but ok. My bf got the chicken hibachi and there was a burnt piece of chicken…and too much lemon added so it tasted pretty acidic. Ambience was beautiful, no problem with correcting the ticket. Prob won’t be back but it was nice we showed up towards the evening without a reservation and was served with no issues."

"My coworker and I ordered the filet hibachi, and it was incredibly tender and delicious. The rest of the food was great too—the meal came with vegetables, a few shrimp, white rice, and I purchased a side of udon noodles and upgraded to the fried rice. I would recommend coming here if you’re itching for some hibachi, and all of the food I ordered was fantastic. Overall, my experience was on par with what I’d expect from a typical hibachi restaurant. The filet was even better than expected. I would note that the chef was nice and did the stereotypical tricks, but was a bit uninspired (may have been due to the fact that only 4 of us were at the table, and 2 of the customers were not paying much attention). The prices are a bit steep, but the filet is worth it. My coworkers had suggested the filet, and now I know why!"

"This restaurant is similar to Benihana and specializes in teppanyaki-style cooking. The portions are generous, but the flavors are just average. The view is stunning, providing a picturesque overlook of the pier. "It was entertaining. The kids are 17 and 12 years old and they love it. My son always wants to come here when he gets to pick. The food is delicious I can't think of one bad thing to say. The chef was funny I'd give him a 10. There were 4 of us and we tipped the chef and the wait staff all together the bill was $185 and worth every penny.Oh the kids loved the yum yum sauce that's what they called it. Kid-friendliness: Perfect for kids of all ages in my opinion"
