"The previous Acqua while originally a restaurant eventually became only a banquet facility. The current Acqua is open for regular dining hours has a decent dinner menu as well as banquet rooms. Not sure if they are the same as the previous Acqua. We arrived for our 6:00 PM reservation were promptly seated on the patio. There were tables available inside but the atmosphere needs to be worked on a bit. The inside area seemed large, plain empty. Could be their attempt at dealing with social distancing. The patio was nice everyone was well spaced out. We found the staff to be polite attentive. We both chose a drink from the drink specials menu, a white sangria a smoky margarita. Both were good. We were provided fresh warm rolls butter. The warm rolls were good. For an appetizer we chose crab stuffed mushrooms. We were very happy with this choice as they were quite good. We split a caprese salad. It wasn't what we expected but we were pleasantly surprised as it was good not over filling. My wife initially had something in mind for dinner but when she seen the lobster roll go by her mind was instantly changed made up. The lobster roll came with fresh cut truffle fries was stuffed to overflowing with large chunks of fresh lobster meat. I went with a pan seared cod with fingerling potatoes peas with a lobster sauce. I was surprised by the chunks of lobster that came with it. There was a small scoop of pesto on the side of the dish. I found this to be a bit strong chose not to eat it. The rest of the dish was perfect. The peas were firm and flavorful, the potatoes perfectly cooked buttery. Patio season is soon ending. Hopefully the ambiance of the interior seating will improve as it is more frequently needed. I would return with friends and would recommend to others to give Acqua a try."
