"Extremely disappointed with my experience at VB3. I ordered food for my sick uncle on behalf of my grandmother, who paid for it. Unfortunately, the order was delivered to the wrong apartment. When I called to let them know, they told me they couldn’t retrieve it — even though the building’s security guard confirmed the food was likely accepted by the wrong tenant. There was no real effort made to make things right. I had to ask for a refund — it wasn’t even offered upfront. I called back hoping they would show a little empathy or accountability by redelivering the food, especially since my uncle is a regular customer and the situation involved someone who is ill and homebound. Instead, they refused to send the food again unless I paid a second time. There was no compassion, no problem-solving, just a cold “no.” In a city like Jersey City, where good food and good service should go hand-in-hand, this was incredibly disappointing. My grandmother doesn’t have money to waste, and this felt like a complete disregard for a loyal customer and a vulnerable person.
