"I was extremely disappointed with this restaurant, especially given all the positive reviews. To sum it up, the food was terrible and the service didn’t help redeem the experience. Our server vanished halfway through our meal and seemed confused about even the most basic menu items. That might have been bearable if the food were decent, but unfortunately it was not. The pancakes were flat and dry, and no amount of syrup or butter could make them palatable. The fish and chips were completely flavorless, the omelette was drenched in grease and lacked seasoning, and the chicken and waffles tasted overwhelmingly salty with no other flavor. Overall, it was a frustrating experience. Plus, as a server, you'd expect them to check on us when they saw plates full of uneaten food and no request for takeout boxes, but they didn't even ask if everything was okay."
