"No doubts at all, food is excellent. But the day we visited it was super busy and only 2 waiters among approximately 10 tables. Though they were trying their best. Hopefully managers can have more waiters during those busy times. No one at the front counter when we arrived. Waiter there for about 10 minutes for someone to show up. This restaurant does take open table reservation but the person who showed up at desk told us they don’t have any reservation from us. Glad the wait time was only 12-15 minutes."

"Shahi is the BEST place to go to for Indian Food. They definitely don 't disappoint. The very first time that I ever went there, honestly I didn 't like it at first because everything was so spicy! But now that I know u can tell them no spice, everything is so delicious that I can 't get enough of! I 've tried their Chicken Sagg, Mang9 Chicken, Butter Chicken, Coastal Shrimp Curry, Garlic Naan Bread, lemon rice, on top of other delicious food that they have. I definitely would recommend this place. I give this place 10/10. The staff are so friendly and are never rude. Me and my husband are regulars. We LOVE this place so much!!! U get alot of food for what u pay for. They never disappoint! And if ur into drinking their Taj Mahal beer is good too, and I 'm not even a beer drinker! Babush is the most friendly waiter that I have ever met in the whole and tire state of Michigan. Thank you Shahi, we will definitely be looking forward to visiting u again. I would of taken pictures of my food but couldn 't resist and ate it before I could take pictures. lol"

"Overall, I had a very good experience here. I thought that the service was good. The food is a bit on the expensive side, given how much is served per plate... but it was mostly all quite tasty. "In the good old pre-Covid days, Taj Mahal was one of our few regular restaurant outings in the very sad food desert that is the greater Milwaukee metro area. There was nothing better on a cold winter day than to load up on good Indian food, then take in a matinee at the Marcus Theatre in New Berlin. But now that Taj Mahal has permanently abandoned their once-great lunch buffet, they're just another semi-shabby, overpriced, mediocre Indian restaurant with far, far too many menu choices, and no good way to sample the amazing variety of Indian cuisine. If Taj Mahal doesn't want to continue their lunch buffet, that's their business. But instead of a menu jam-packed with 180 dishes (I counted them! that many Americans have never even heard of, and most will never order, how about focusing on a selection of classics, then serve them Thali style so a person can try several entrees and accompaniments (bread, rice, pickle, etc. for a reasonable lunch-sized price?"

"We ordered take out dinner for 2,Spicy butter chicken, rice, garlic naan bread, and an appetizer. For the price point, The portions were very small. The naan bread looked about half the size as others from videos I had seen on TikTok. It didn’t seem any of the dips (chutney , yogurt) were included in the price of the meal, had to be ordered separately. Our total was about 65$ and were left still feeling hungry. I really appreciated being about to try food from different cultures. The atmosphere was very clean, however there was not one other customer in the store. The quality of the food was good, however the portions do not match the high price tag."

"i can’t believe i’ve gone up and down peachtree so many times without finding out about this restaurant till now. the decor is quite nice and i love the open kitchen and bar in the front the beverage team is doing a great job! we ordered the chicken 65 and bhindi chaat which were great starters to share and quite delicious. for entrees, we shared the saffron butter chicken and the aloo gabi at a medium spice level, which was just perfectly spiced. i’ve been trying to find a good indian spot and am happy that everything was flavorful and seasoned well. on top of the delicious food is the service our server Naveen was attentive and went the extra mile into recommending what we should and shouldn’t have, and his recommendations definitely helped us a lot! He even told us the next time we come, they provide 2 hour parking next to the restaurant. the entire service team was friendly and approachable and did a great job! and on top of that is their extra details in service and atmosphere with features such as:1. the kitchen window showing the chefs making your bread fresh right in front of the dining room2. bags in the bathroom for women’s sanitary disposables and separate trash bins3. a large array of mirrors and portrait lights that provide a great photo op for you, your partner, or a group!i would gladly return again for more food!"

"I almost can 't describe how amazing this place is. You walk in the door, instantly hear welcome home! And feel like part of the family. The decor and chairs are gorgeous, but not so much it 's distracting. Promptly sat, even during buffet hours, and got our drinks ordered and immediately had naan at the table. It 's definitely not the size of a Chinese buffet, but they have all of the best things. Their salad bar is amazing, they 've got vegan and meat options. And literally every item on the buffet is amazing. I went to broaden my tastes of Indian food, so I literally tried everything, and now I know I probably just like all Indian food. Using the bread to eat the saucier items, thus eating with your hands, is absolutely amazing when you 're not getting judged. And any time our glasses were a quarter or a 3rd empty, there was one of the servers with a pitcher of water. They definitely do an amazing job at keeping your drink full. The employees seem like family. They all tend to every table and the buffet, to stir and whatnot to keep everything fresh and hot. And you just generally feel like you 're home. I 'd rather 10/5 stars if I could. I 'll definitely be returning."

"The flavors were rich and distinct! Overall very delicious food and comfortable atmosphere. Lots of seating options, either cozy booths, spacey tables, or seating at the bar. The waiter was exceptionally friendly. The Lamb Kourma was my favorite dish. Dessert was on the sweet side, but delicious. However, the bathrooms were in a strange location and not very clean. Also, we had to ask for the water to stay at our table when we got our drinks."

"The food at this restaurant was tasty. We tried the chicken tacos, mixed grill appetizers, and naan, all of which were enjoyable. The staff was polite, but there were a few downsides. My water went empty and was never refilled, and when the waitress noticed, she didn't bring a jug. I wouldn't classify this as fine dining since there were only two occupied tables and two waitresses. When I asked for hot sauce, they gave me a sweet chili sauce, which I later learned was their vindaloo sauce, and I was charged $5 for it! I could easily buy a bottle of hot sauce for that price. While I appreciate the experience, I won’t be returning. I suggest being a bit more attentive to customers in the future. Waitstaff should ensure customer satisfaction before expecting a 20% tip. Overall, I don't recommend this place. Perhaps consider delivery to avoid interaction with the staff."

"This restaurant has been a staple for a long time and still maintains a cozy, family-owned atmosphere. The establishment was very clean, and the service was outstanding. We visited for the lunch buffet, and at just $15 per person, the authentic food is unbeatable. My favorites included the goat curry, palak, paneer tikka masala, and kheer for dessert. "I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. Despite it being nearly empty on a Friday night and us having made a reservation, we were thoroughly disappointed. The service was a mess – I had to ask twice for a glass of wine and had to go find the staff, who were lounging in the back, to get served. Our appetizer took 50 minutes to arrive, and it took over an hour from placing our order to being served, even though there were only three occupied tables. We had the Lamb Saag, Chicken Tikka, Lamb Rogan Josh, and Dal Makhani – nothing outstanding, but not bad either. Getting the check was a challenge, and even after using the “pay online” feature, we were stopped in the parking lot by staff claiming we hadn’t paid. I showed them the e-receipt on my phone to prove we had. Overall, nothing positive about this experience. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously."

"I went to this spot for lunch and I ordered my lunch via the internet. I ordered the vegetable kolhapuri and it cost $13.93. When I arrived I parked on the street nearby. When I checked in it said I could get 10% off but one of the men that worked there said they didn't honor it and walked away which was rude. Another man came from the back and asked me if I was ordering and I said I was picking up and I told him my name. He said give it 10 more minutes. He was really nice ablut it. After a while he bought the food out and I left. When I got home I ate and it was just ok. I had to add some seasoning to it to taste but it was filling. All in all it was just an ok experience."

"florida can get damp, after 2 hours spent lazing on the beach tried my best to do a doggy ware swim against the waves, I realized that it was time for swimming. but all the paddling builds quite appetit and it was to my surprise I found a restaurant just a few minutes walk from the beach that had the name moksha' in it together with brassiere. really curious how transcendent would get their kitchen, I went and was greeted in a fine dinning atmosphere with decor and a feeling of modern ambiente that I was not used to in most Indian restaurants. shortly after my seat, I began to speak with the manager gilbert and realized that his Goan heritage meant that they had had a great spicy vindaloo. we have always talked about the well-written menu, and I noticed that all the dishes had a feeling of original creativity to them while it remained true for the authenticity of the region from which the court came. I spent the next 2 hours rehearsal and eat my way through the menu with friendly comment from gilbert about the rich history behind every dish and the regions in india it came. I have only highlighted favorite dishes and the lemon rice really hit the place as main course with the Kerala style red paprika prawn curry, followed by the Goan style prawn curry served with gluten-free naan. yes, this is the only Indian restaurant that I have anywhere where it has a whole gluten-free vegan menu that is shocking and incredibly smart. add this to an excellent customer service and incredibly fresh tasting great prawn and other dishes made to order, I realized that I have to come back to continue lauderdale to enjoy fine dining with Indian cuisine with dressed from all india. the pièce de résistance was the paan aromatized ice cream with a rose flavored sweet mix above. I could not try the Tandoor Octopus, but it will have to wait for my next trip here, and after its name, this restaurant will free them from the insane masses of curry houses that they find throughout the world a truly transcendent experience."

"This restaurant is consistently reliable and offers consistently delicious food. Although they forgot to include the samosas in my order last night, it wasn't a big issue. I called them and the man on the phone offered to either deliver the missing item or provide a refund. I chose the refund option, and he explained that he was too busy to return to the restaurant after closing. However, just a few minutes before closing time, I received the refund in my email. I really appreciate the level of communication and customer service they provided."

The place is very well furnished and is 100% Indian food, it is an authentic place with Indian roots, where you can see the culture of the country in its entirety, a unique and highly recommended experience. "I like the new location it is more spacious. I went with a group. Some had lamb kabobs, some had kurma. One ordered her kurma medium spicy and another mild. Both thought their food was hot. I ordered a fried shrimp appetizer, shrimp vindaloo and garlic naan. All my food was delicious. My vindaloo was not too spicy. I actually borrowed some of the sliced jalapeños from my friend's kurma. The rice was a little plain. The sweet tea had good flavor though. Our waiter wasfriendly and attentive. I look forward to going back and trying more items on the menu! UPDATE Visited again during happy hour. Nice selection of drinks. The host suggested goat curry and we loved it. The sauce is more of a brown gravywhich I found delightfully delicate, while the lamb vindaloo was more tangy as a tomato based sauce. Both were delicious."
