"Giving only 3 stars because of service, I was dissatisfied with the food. Out of 5 plates, 4 were ok. My plate was not fresh at all, and I could see the concern of our server having his hands tied. The service was good, and the workers at the Douglas locations are very nice and kind. Unfortunately, the quality of my plate was terrible to the point where it was not edible. The pasta was super old and reheated, which is a shame because the meatballs were really nice, and the pasta was to the point of spoiling. ?I base the scoring on my companion plates, and they were ok with them. The lasagnas were really good, and the pizza was the only plate that was superfresh. Overall, I don't think I'll be back. Someday, maybe I'll check the one at the Rock Rd location to compare.Il Vicino needs to improve the work conditions. Using old food to move stock is terrible. Having cooked food stocks is already unacceptable on a restaurant. Please do better."
